Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton slammed President Donald Trump's administration on Monday and urged Jewish people to repair the world by removing him from office. The former first lady spoke of 'tikkun olam,' a Jewish concept of repairing the world.

Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, made the statement while speaking at the Jewish Labor Committee's 48th annual human rights awards dinner in New York. The Democrat, in her 12-minute speech, attacked Trump for his "cruelty and contempt for values that are embodied" in the constitution.

"The current administration has been conducting a concerted attack on the rule of law, on the importance of our government and the services that it provides for people," she said, according to Times of Israel. "It’s gonna be a tough election and you need to bring your organizing skills, your shared sense of values, your feeling of empathy and compassion and caring, your deep conviction about justice, because we’re gonna need every single person in this fight."

Clinton also mentioned the history of Jewish labor organizing during the event, including the participation of the Jewish Labor Committee in 1963 march on Washington. Protesters, during the march, had demanded civil and economic rights for African American people in the country.

The former first lady's comments came the same day a new poll revealed that she would be leading the race for the Democratic nomination for president if she declared her candidacy for 2020. The survey, conducted by Harris poll, was released by Harvard University’s Center for American Political Studies.

The poll showed Clinton in the first place with 21 percent of the vote, the current frontrunner Joe Biden at the second place with 20 percent of the votes and Senator Bernie Sanders at third 12 percent. Senator Elizabeth Warren came at fourth place in the poll with 9 percent followed by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg at 7 percent. The online poll, which surveyed 1,859 voters, was taken between November 27 and November 29.
