'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' Preview: It's homecoming week and fans couldn't be more excited for Carlos and Seb
'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' is halfway into Season 1 and the drama is just getting started.
Disney+'s fan-favorite series is heading towards Episode 5 this Friday, and it's time for Homecoming. Last week we saw Nini (Olivia Rodrigo) and EJ's (Matt Cornett) relationship take a massive turn after he steals her phone and deletes a voicemail Ricky (Joshua Bassett) sent to Nini pouring his heart out.
No matter how much EJ tries to win her back, in the end, Nini ends up blocking him. We also witnessed a brief moment between Ricky and Nini, which made hearts melt. But what we do know is that Gina (Sofia Wylie) is not giving up on her plan to do whatever it takes in order to steal the part of Gabriella in the school play. In the end, she convinces EJ to take her to the homecoming so that he gets the part of Troy and win by Nina. All just so she can get the part of Gabriella.
Post the episode, the series released a sneak peek as to what we can expect from the forthcoming episode. It's time for homecoming, and while everyone gets ready, Nini and her best friend Kourtney plan on having a girls' night and not attend the homecoming. But there is a high chance that she might end up going after all.
The series also teases that Ricky will be going for the homecoming, but it is still unclear, who he might be going with. The highlight of the sneak peek was Carlos asking Seb to the homecoming, which has fans cheering and excited for the episode to air. EJ agrees to go to the homecoming with Gina, hoping that would make Nini jealous but looks like Ricky might be the one there to comfort her.
After watching the sneak peek fans took to Twitter sharing how excited they are for the episode to air. "HOMECOMING EPISODE NEXT WEEK YASSS #HSMTMTS," wrote a fan. Adding to that another said, "wAIT, NEXT WEEK IS THE HOMECOMING EPISODE??? HECK YEA #HSMTMTS."
"Next week is the homecoming dance episode so they better give us a longer one! It's what we deserve! #HSMTMTS," shared a fan. While another added, "homecoming episode is next girl I’m so scared #HSMTMTS."
Apart from that fans cannot contain their excitement that Carlos might be going to the homecoming with Seb. "CARLOS ASKING SEB ABOUT HOMECOMING SEBLOS NATION WE WINNING #HSMTMTS."
Adding to that another said, "THE HOMECOMING EP NEXT WEEK BETTER BE AN ABSOLUTE WIN FOR THE GAYS #HSMTMTS." While a fan shared, "And IS CARLOS GONNA ASK SEB TO HOMECOMING BC I WILL ACTUALLY EXPLODE #HSMTMTS."
