'Hello! It's Me!': Meet Kim Young-Kwang, Choi Gang Hee, Lee Re, Eum Moon Suk and rest of the cast of KBS drama

The new KBS drama ‘Hello! It’s Me’ is all set to commence from February 3 replacing the popular K-drama ‘Cheat On Me If You Can’ and the star-studded cast featuring award-winning Kim Young Kwang, Choi Gang Hee, Eum Moon Suk, and rising actress Lee Re has got the k-drama lovers looking forward to the television series.

Plot


‘Hello! It’s Me’ which is loosely based on the popular novel ‘Fantastic Girl’ will have 32 episodes and will continue till April 2021 reportedly. The plot of the K-drama revolves around 37-year-old Ban Na Hi, stuck in a temporary job, single, and constantly in fear of losing her job. In midst of her bleak reality, she comes across her 17-year-old bright self who teaches her how to be hopeful and love her ownself forgiving the wounds and healing from the past. The male protagonist Han Yoo-hyun played by Kim Young-kwang comes from a rich privileged family with little to no knowledge of adulting. In a twist of fate, the older Ban Na Hi faces her younger, brighter self from another timeline and the story also gets entangled in a love triangle featuring Eum Moon Suk who plays the role of Korean star Ahn So Ni.



 

Cast

Choi Gang Hee

Actress Choi Gang-Hee arrives at the Star Road Red Carpet at the12th Pusan International Film Festival October 5, 2007 in Pusan, South Korea. The festival will showcase a total of 275 films from 64 countries, 193 of the which are world, international or Asian premieres.

Choi Gong Hee, the critically acclaimed award-winning South Korean actress will play the main protagonist Ban Na Hi lost in a bleak world where she feels insignificant and craves not to be single anymore. Ban Na Hi’s temporary job constantly causes her anxiety as she fears losing it any moment. The story unveils Ban Na Hi suddenly meeting her younger, so full of life self from a different timeline who teaches her how to heal from past wounds. 

Gang Hee debuted in acting in 1995 with a high school drama ‘The New Generation Report: Adults Don't Know’ and shot to fame later starring in two classic legendary film and television series franchises, ‘Whispering Corridors’ and ‘School’. The 43-year-old actress has bagged over 18 awards for her iconic performances with appearing in more than 40 K-dramas along with films like ‘Petty Romance’, ‘Goodbye Mom’, and more.

Kim Young Kwang 



 

Kim Young Kwang plays the role of rich chaebol Han Yoo-hyun who leads a carefree life away from most adult responsibilities. The 37-year-old model Kim Young Kwang shot to fame as the first Asian to model in Dior Homme's show. The award-winning actor has starred in over twenty television series including ‘Pinocchio’ (2014), ‘D-Day’ (2015), ‘Sweet Stranger and Me’ (2016, ‘The Guardians’ (2017), and ‘The Secret Life of My Secretary’ (2019) and films like ‘Runway Cop’ (2012), ‘Hot Young Bloods’ (2014), ‘On Your Wedding Day’ (2018) and ‘The Soul-Mate’ (2018) and more.

Lee Re



 

The young 14-year-old actress Lee Re will be acting in the role of 17-year-old Ban Na Hi, the bright energetic, and full-of-life self who comes from another timeline to meet her older self. Lee Re has already acted in a number of television series and films, won the Best New Actress award for her spectacular performance in the movie ‘Hope’ and later for KBS2 drama ‘Witch At Court’, ‘Radio Romance’ and film ‘Peninsula’.

Eum Moon Suk



 

Eum Moon Suk will be appearing in the K-drama playing the role of popular Korean star Ahn So Ni and be a part of the love triangle featuring Ban Na Hi and Han Yoo-hyun. The 38-year-old rising K-drama star has starred in multiple hit TV series including ‘Whisper’, ‘Backstreet Rookie’, ‘Tell Me What You Saw, ‘The Fiery Priest’ and more.

Supporting cast



 

Along with the main cast, veteran actress Kim Yong Rim will be seen in the role of Lee Hong Nyun, the grandmother of Ban Ha Ni who loves her granddaughter the most but she will have dementia. Yoon Joo Sang will be acting in the role of Han Ji Man, the father of male protagonist Han Yoo Hyun and the chairman of Joah Confectionery. Kim Yoo Mi will be portraying the character of Oh Ji Eun, who has a history with Ban Ha Ni and Ji Seung Hyun will be Yang Do Yoon, the older cousin of Han Yoo Hyun, who is soon to own Joah Confectionery.
