'Halo' Episode 9 Fan Review: 'The whole final scene was the a Halo Player's DREAM!'
Contains spoilers for 'Halo' Episode 9
'Halo' seems to have finally pleased fans after the sine wave-like response it garnered after its premiere. The series though ended on an explosive note and sets up a rather intriguing and speculation-filled second season. For starters, the fate of Makee (Charlie Murphy) is unknown after Kai- 125 (Kate Kennedy) fatally shoots her in order to snap John back to reality. The Silver team gets pummelled at the hands of the zealots and with Makee presumably dead, John surrenders control to Cortana, transforming into the killing machine he was meant to be.
Fans were all praise for the finale. "I gotta say, i really enjoyed the season finale. The whole final scene was the a Halo Player's DREAM! I'm really interested to see where it goes from here. THAT BEING SAID,it looks like Chief will be silent/helmeted for a while. But don't lose Cortana for it," one of the fans wrote.

This was seconded by another, "My final thoughts on #HaloTheSeries before my full season review. I really enjoyed the show despite its flaws. I like the bold decisions with the story, I liked the action, and the filmmaking aspect was great. More to come but for now, I really liked it. Thank you @HaloTheSeries."
"Ok first, loved the latest episode. It’s what the whole season should have been like. But! You left us with THAT ending?!? Cmon! Anyways, I give the season a 7/10 mainly because I really didn’t like the side story that had nothing to do with John. #HaloTheSeries @HaloTheSeries,' a fan tweeted. "Holy smokes. The #HaloTheSeries finale was fantastic. Loved how it wrapped things up and I can't wait for Season 2! " a tweet said.
"I honestly loved the idea of juxtaposing John and the Master Chief as seperate characters. Just a shame they only really nailed it in two episodes, the one on Eridanus II and the finale. Those subtle helmet shots were good, we just needed to see more Chief. #HaloTheSeries," a comment said.
"#HaloTheSeries Season 1 Episode 9 Season Finale Transcendence Review: What a epic & emotional way to end Season 1 of Halo! This episode is intense & the action sequences are pure Halo! The Spartans are badass! Makee & John seal their fates! The VFX, CGI & score were fire! 10/10!" a fan opined. "#HaloTheSeries was almost a perfect first season in my opinion. Did their own thing, but brought it back to the thing everyone knows Halo for. The season finale was. Bravo," a tweet remarked.
