'Halo' Episode 3: Jen Taylor's Cortana impresses fans, say 'design accurate to the lore'

Fans are lauding the design of the AI Cortana on 'Halo', with many calling her design and voice 'cool' and praising her chemistry with Master Chief

Jen Taylor's AI Cortana made her much-awaited appearance on 'Halo' and its safe to say that the game ardents and the casually curious seemed to love her design and the chemistry with Pablo Schreiber's Master Chief. The character was a sore absentee in the premiere and Episode 2 but finally makes her mark. The episode follows John as he tries to understand the artifact he found at Madrigal. Aiding him is Cortana and supporting her is Dr Halsey (Natascha McElhone).

There's also a parallel storyline that sees Makee (Charlie Murphy) search for John and the artifact and the episode titled 'Emergence' provides a look at her powers. Coming back to the fans' take on Cortana, one wrote, "Halo episode 3 was pretty good, much better than ep 2 for sure Cortana's finally here. She looks cool. Love the design. And of course the main highlight of the episode Naked Master Chief." Another seconded that thought, "Cortana is finally here.. and she looks and sounds great #HaloTheSeries."
