'All Summer Long': Release, plot, cast and everything you need to know about the new Hallmark channel ‘Summer Nights’ original movie

Hallmark channel's annual summer nights event started in July 27 and the network has been regaling audiences with sun-filled days drenched in love and leisure. Part of its annual summer nights programming event is 'All Summer Long' a romantic movie set aboard a cruise. Here's all you need to know about the film.

Release Date

The movie will be released on August 24, Saturday on Hallmark Channel at 9 p.m ( ET/PT)

Plot

A lawyer and an equally capable sailor Tia is the captain of a dinner cruiser for the summer but is disappointed to learn that her ex-boyfriend Jake is also on the same cruise as a chef. Problems ensue and on its maiden voyage, nothing goes according to plan as the yacht must be towed ashore. Overcoming their differences, Jake and Tia then pair up to give the cruise another chance as they land another reservation. Will they be able to open a new business, navigate the sea, and each other?

Cast

Autumn Reeser

Reeser plays the role of Tia in this Hallmark romantic comedy. Reeser made her debut as the quirky-cute socially awkward Taylor Townsend in 2005 in the popular Fox drama series 'The O.C'. She also has been a lead actress in many of Hallmark's comedies.

Brennan Elliott

He will play the role of Jake in this new Hallmark Channel romantic movie. He is an actor and producer known for his work in 2015's 'UnReal', 'Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb in 2014 and the very horrifying 'Curse of Chucky in 2013.

Director

Peter DeLuise

Peter was a regular on “21 Jump Street” and “SeaQuest”. As a Director, Writer and Producer, he has worked on the “Stargate” franchise for over 10 years.

“All Summer Long” is from Anchor Road Productions Ltd. The producer is Charles Cooper.
