TV host Greg Kelly became the talking point on Twitter after he posted a picture with former president Donald Trump. While that sentence alone may warrant that the nature of the news is political, it's far from it. Twitter can't seem to get over Kelly's fashion choice, particularly his Balmain pants and Ferragamo loafers.

Twitter trolled the host endlessly about his fashion choices, to which Kelly replied in a tweet that he's a "Sharp Dressed Man", seeing that he was wearing high fashion brands with equally high price tags.

Kelly initially shared a photo with Trump and tweeted, "Chillin’ with 45! (And yes. Those are BUGLE BOY jeans I’m wearing)." When he was roasted over his wardrobe, he defended himself with a second tweet that said, "Everyone busting my CRACKERS over the “pants”—(partially my fault because I called attention to them with the Bugle Boy comment). The truth is, they’re BALMAIN (the most prestigious brand in PANTS)—my shoes are by Ferragamo. Basically, I’m a Sharp Dressed Man. Thank you !"

Kelly's fashion choices don't come cheap. He mentioned that his pants are Balmain and his shoes are Salvatore Ferragamo, which retail for at least $1,071 and $767 respectively.

As reported by Married Biography, his net worth is estimated to be $3M. It has also been reported that according to sources, he draws a salary of $62,233. Kelly's career took off in the '90s when he was the anchor for a new program at WIVT-TV in Binghamton, New York. The first tweet Kelly put out with Trump featured the men posing together. Twitter was quick to comment on Kelly's questionable fashion choices. "Greg you're my guy but those pants are horrendous. Twitter did you a favor with how they cropped the picture," tweeted a user. "Hey Greg- Your $1200 tactical man khakgings make you look... how to say this nicely... like someone let Sponge Bob dry out in the sun. What do you keep in those pants anyway- because there are obviously things you don’t need to worry about in terms of space... so?" asked a concerned user.

"Cargo skinny jeans. I have not seen that combo before and I never want to see it again," added another. "Good grief! I didn’t think anyone could make the former guy look better by comparison, but I was wrong," tweeted a user.

Kelly was not a fan of the incoming fashion advice and was quick to tweet that he stood by his choices. Twitter was quick to school him yet again. "Fancy loafers, no matter how expensive do not make a sharply dressed man. You have to dress appropriately for the occasion, ensure your clothes fit (your pants are sagging and bunching at your ankles) and ensure that nothing you wear clashes with each other. This is not it sir." tweeted a user.

"It's like I say: you can always spot a sharp dresser from the fact that they literally have to tell people, after their outfit has been widely scrutinized by millions, that they are in fact sharply dressed." joked another.

Looks like all of Twitter is now Kelly's stylist and the first order of business is to tell him what not to wear.
