Greg Gutfeld attacks 'The View' host Joy Behar for calling young Republicans like Vivek Ramaswamy 'dumb'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Greg Gutfeld called out Joy Behar for calling young Republican leaders "dumb" on his late-night show. 'The View' host specifically targeted Vivek Ramaswamy, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren "Bobblehead" Boebert and Matt Gaetz.
The Fox News host invited his guests to question Behar's take here, especially when it came to Ramaswamy, who is known for his impressive academic achievements from prestigious institutes and a successful career in business at a very young age.
'Gutfeld!' guests mock Joy Behar for calling Vivek Ramaswamy 'dumb'
Behar recently attacked young politicians in the Republican Party as she went on to call them "liars" for defending former president Donald Trump with false claims.
While Gutfeld and his guests did not seem to argue for the other mentioned politicians on Behar's list, all of them defended 2024 presidential race hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy.
"I don't care if you disagree or agree with him," Gutfeld said, adding, "That dude is not dumb."
Emily Compagno from 'The Fox True Crime Podcast' agreed with the host as she commented on Behar's "ridiculous" take.
"Regardless how you feel about him and his politics, he's undeniably brilliant," Compagno said, adding, "...He did biology from Harvard. He went to Yale Law School."
Gutfeld went on to add about Behar, "She's on 'The View'. Together, they can't get ten brain cells together."
Fox News contributor Kate Timpf said that Behar is "not very good at giving examples." According to the comedian, 'The View' host could have "picked anyone else" to "prove that Republicans are dumb."
Lou Perez says Joy Behar complimented Marjorie Taylor Greene
When asked if Behar's opinion could be taken as a compliment, comedian Lou Perez said that she could be turned to for compliments.
"I mean Marjorie Taylor Greene? She called her a young Republican?" Perez said as Gutfeld guffawed in the background. "That's fantastic. She should be retweeting that," Perez added.
'The View' is one of Gutfeld's repeated targets and he stated the reason as a "justification" for why he does that here.
"I make fun of 'The View' but it's because they are relentlessly, always calling people racist," Gutfeld said.
"And there's nothing worse than pegging somebody as a racist so you can make fun of their looks...You can change your looks but you could ruin somebody's career if you call them racist," he added.
