'Good Girls' has finally returned with its highly anticipated Season 3. The premiere does a pretty solid job at giving Beth Boland and the viewers the creeps about where or how Rio might be. Also, the mere fact that he has been hinted to be still alive and possibly returning to uproot Beth's life worse than ever, is worth celebrating.

About 15 minutes into the Season 3 premiere, our worst fear and the fandom's biggest prayers were finally answered as we found out just what had happened to Beth's steamy flame and tumultuous ex-lover, Rio.

The last time we had seen him, he was shot repeatedly by Beth. As she left him to die, Agent Turner sneaked up on him and promised to save Rio's life in exchange for him owing Turner big time. As is clear now, Turner did help Rio out and the fandom can rest easy knowing Beth's new-found freedom might be short-lived, but at least Rio is back to stir things up in her life. Doesn't get better, right?

Clearly, that's a unanimous sentiment in the entire fandom, as they couldn't be happier for the 'king' returning to terrorize the titular good girls - Beth, Annie (Mae Whitman), and Ruby (Retta) some more.

Taking it to Twitter, an impatient fan asked the biggest questions of all: "Speaking of his daddy... WHERE is Rio, Beth?! Make it make sense!"

Another expressed their masked impatience, writing: "I'm waiting patiently for Rio to show up at Beth's house and start some shit." When it was finally revealed that Rio did survive, a fan exclaimed with utter joy: "Yaaaaaaas. Dirty cop saved Rio!"

For other fans, this was as simple as a matter of fact. The 'Good girls' fandom has unanimously also claimed that ridding the show of Rio would be a gross mistake, and making themselves heard once again, a fan wrote: "Never doubted it (Rio's return), it would be crazy to get rid of that amazing actor! Still glad to see him this early!"

'Good Girls' Season 3 airs on Sundays at 10 pm only on NBC.
