Golden Globes 2020: Fans cheer Phoebe-Waller Bridge on 'Fleabag' win, say her speech is funnier than Ricky Gervais'
The 77th annual Golden Globe Awards, which celebrates standout performances in film and TV, has officially kicked off the year's award season. At the star-studded event, Phoebe Waller-Bridge clinched the trophy for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series (Musical or Comedy) for 'Fleabag'.
The critically-acclaimed TV show won many hearts and fans are on cloud nine to see their favorite star winning the well-deserved award. "Phoebe Waller-Bridge winning best TV series actress in comedy is a no brainer. She is a great actress, writer and Fleabag is a masterpiece of TV #goldenglobes2020," one tweet read.

One fan even went on to say how he wouldn't be so happy if he were to win an award. "I don’t think I’d be this happy if I’d won an award myself. I’m soooo proud of Phoebe #goldenglobes2020."
