Golden Globes 2020: Brad Pitt wins Best Supporting Actor but Twitter gives all the credit to his 'hotness'

While some thought he totally deserved the trophy, others thought he did nothing other than looking good

If just the presence of Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio was not enough to take your breath away, the former also went on to clinch the trophy for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in Motion Picture.

The 56-year-old actor won hearts as he came to accept his award with a marvellous speech as he thanked his co-actor, Leonardo DiCaprio. Not only did he refer to him by his nick name, LDC, but also said he would have shared the raft.

Fans couldn't be more excited to see their favorite actors bonding on the big night. "Thanks to Brad Pitt, we will now forever call Leonardo DiCaprio by his cool new nickname, LDC," one tweet read and another said, "He would have shared the raft. But oh my god also he's so hot. #goldenglobes2020."

One fan said, "Brad Pitt to Leonardo DiCaprio — 'I would have shared the raft'. Was that a Titanic reference? #GoldenGlobes."

His win divided Twitter as some thought he totally deserved the trophy while others thought he did nothing other than looking good. One tweet read, "Why are people surprised Brad Pitt has shown up at the #goldenglobes2020 looking hot? That’s what he does/is."

"I’m sorry. Wtf did Brad Pitt do to earn this award? The answer is nothing. He didn’t, what a lame ass performance to win for. #goldenglobes2020," one tweet read and another said, "I'm just gonna pretend that Brad Pitt just won that award for AD ASTRA #goldenglobes2020."

Many other fans took his side. "Yes! Brad Pitt absolutely deserved that win for Best Supporting Actor. Both Al Pacino and Joe Pesci didn't win! @TheIrishmanFilm continues to lose! #GoldenGlobes2020," one user posted and another wrote, "Brad Pitt was phenomenal in Once Upon a Time... This years Supporting Actor category is stacked. #goldenglobes2020."

If that was not all, his joke on his dating life also grabbed many eyeballs.
