Did Ghislaine Maxwell party with missing woman Heidi Planck's boss Jason Sugarman?

Jason Sugarman, the alleged fraudster boss of missing woman Heidi Planck reportedly partied with Jeffrey Epstein's ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell at an Oscars party in Hollywood.
Thirty nine-year-old Planck disappeared under highly suspicious circumstances after attending her 11-year-old son's flag football game in Los Angeles on October 17. Authorities searched her home and investigated a landfill site 50 miles north of a building where Planck was last seen on CCTV cameras in Downtown LA. While Planck's disappearance remains a mystery at the time of publication, her ex-husband Jim Wayne, who reported her missing, has previously claimed that police were looking at her job as an accountant for Camden Capital managing partner Sugarman as a "main line of inquiry." According to The Sun, Sugarman is currently facing a civil case by the Securities and Exchange Commission that accuses him of helping steal $43 million and thereby leaving a Native American tribe $60 million in debt.
Sugarman, 50, was previously reported to have had business connections to President Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden and the Gambino crime family. Now, he is also accused of rubbing shoulders with Maxwell, who was convicted last week of grooming minors for sexual abuse. Both Sugarman and Maxwell were reportedly pictured socializing at an Oscars party in West Hollywood in 2012 on a socialite's blog. They were seated with a group for dinner at the Sunset Tower Hotel and later moved across the street to a private party at the legendary Chateau Marmont hotel, per the blog. Meanwhile, other prominent personalities at the party included British socialite Lady Victoria Hervey, Pulp Fiction producer Lawrence Bender, and New York Giants owner Steve Tisch. The photos of Sugarman and Maxwell sitting next to each other were captured by socialite and blogger Dori Cooperman and published on Haute Living magazine’s website.
“I’m out in LA for the glamorous Oscar parties!" Cooperman, now 50, wrote on her Dori’s World blog on February 24, 2012. “I arrived Wednesday and went to lunch at La Scala, of course, then off to Soul Cycle that just opened in la for quick work out. Later I was off to Jeff Klein’s restaurant in Sunset Tower for dinner, with Ghislaine Maxwell, Elizabeth Guber, and Jason Sugarman, Matthew and Nicole Mellon, and Drew McCourt. Then we went across the street for a friend's private party at the Chateau Marmont and met up with Alex Von and Ali Kay, Steve Tisch, Victoria Harvey, Lawrence Bender, Montana Coady, and lots more.”
Speaking to The Sun, Cooperman described herself as a "childhood friend" of Sugarman's wife. She reportedly refused to release the photos she took that night and insisted that Maxwell and Sugarman didn't know each other. “It’s like you’re trying to make something up," the socialite said. “If I felt they were connected I would totally understand. But it’s not a connection.” Nonetheless, Sugarman and Maxwell were seen smiling and chatting with a group of revelers in Cooperman's photos. In another pic, Sugarman was posing with his wife Elizabeth Guber, the daughter of Hollywood mogul and owner of the Golden State Warriors basketball team Peter Guber.
Maxwell, 60, was seen smiling for the camera alongside Bender and two unidentified revelers. Cooperman, who was also pictured alongside Maxwell between 2006 and 2013, reportedly refused to comment on the news that Maxwell was found guilty on five out of six sex trafficking-related charges.
