LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Former professional boxer George Foreman has been accused of child abuse by a woman who reportedly is related to the two-time world heavyweight champion, claims a new lawsuit. Foreman, also known as Big George, is now slapped with three lawsuits, all claiming he molested young girls. The 74-year-old has maintained his innocence and denies any involvement in the abuse and plans to fight the allegations in court.

The latest filing gives an insight into how the woman, who is now 64, was forced into sex by Foreman when she was just 15 years old. The unnamed woman claims that around 1974, she traveled to his ranch in Livermore, California, where the horrific incident allegedly took place. The boxer was 24 at that time. The more shocking fact of all is that the accuser, born in Houston, Texas, is a "relative by marriage" of Foreman. Who is George Foreman?

George Edward Foreman is a former professional boxer who competed between 1967 and 1997. At the Mexico 1968 Games, the ex-athlete won Olympic gold after competing in the heavyweight division. The boxer famously ended Joe Frazier’s 29-0 undefeated streak in Kingston, Jamaica. Foreman suffered a first loss in professional boxing when he was defeated by Muhammad Ali in the iconic Rumble in the Jungle fight. Before retiring, Foreman was the oldest world heavyweight champion in history.

The filing doesn't identify George Foreman

Foreman was never officially identified as the alleged abuser in the filing but his identity was disclosed when it stated, "Doe 1 defeated Joe Frazier in 1973 to become the heavyweight champion of the world." The complaint states the victim flew to the ranch on a flight paid by Foreman to help babysit his child, The Sun reports. Foreman was married five times in life and has 12 children. Around the time Foreman allegedly raped the family member he was married to Adrienne Calhoun. The victim was "excited about the opportunity to visit California and to meet her world family relative," according to the lawsuit.

Woman's visit to George Forman's ranch took a dark turn

The complaint alleges that the visit took a dramatic turn when Foreman began quizzing her on sexually explicit topics, "questions which Plaintiff replied that she had absolutely no experience of." The Olympic gold medalist then allegedly offered money to be physically intimate with her and stated that "while penetrating her he wanted to climax inside of her," but she refused. Unfortunately, the victim was then raped by Foreman.

The horrified accuser said in the suit that she did disclose the incident to anyone in the family "because the incident involved a family member." "On that basis, in order to cope with the fear and pain, Plaintiff blocked the memory from [her] mind as her only coping mechanism as to the sexual assault," the suit claims.

Victim recalled the incident 3 years ago

The woman said that she recalled the horrific incident three years back when her friends were discussing examples of abuse. The latest accuser claims that she heard similar accounts given by two other alleged victims and was thus inspired to come forward.

George Foreman was previously sued for sexual abuse by two women

Two women filed lawsuits in 2021 in Los Angeles County that claimed the legendary boxer abused them in the 1970s. According to court documents, the victims said they met Foreman through their fathers. One woman who came across the boxer when she was eight, claimed she was taken for ice cream by him. She alleged that he let her sit on his lap while he was driving. She said that he was sexually inappropriate and claimed the duo had sex when she was 15 and Foreman was 24.

The second woman allegedly came across Foreman when she was nine. The victim claimed that she was sexually abused by Foreman until she turned 16.

George Foreman denies allegations

“Over the past six months, two women have been trying to extort millions of dollars each from me and my family", Foreman told New York Post last year. “They are falsely claiming that I sexually abused them over 45 years ago in the 1970s. I adamantly and categorically deny those allegations,” he added.

'I trust these women'

Twitter users also reacted to the last development in the Foreman child abuse case. One user tweeted, "I trust these women, but the thing that bothers me about the sexual harassment/assault/abuse cases is why do they wait many years before they speak out? They speak out when the accused has something good going on, so it makes it seem suspicious the women are after his wealth." Another wrote, "So he raped them over 40 yrs ago now he’s making millions bc his new movie came out now y’all wanna say something but when y’all forget he existed it was all of a sudden ok." One user wrote, "Hmm, just as a new movie is coming out about this man. Timing is very SUSPICIOUS", while another tweeted, "Leave him alone should have said something back then what are they trying to tarnish his name now." One user opined, "They want that new movie money I see."
