'General Hospital': More often than not, celebrities and A-listers are known to have fallen victims to false accusations and social media slander. However, when it comes to 'General Hospital' fans, any such allegedly made-up stories and allegations usually don't go down well, as seen recently when a vile online troll targeted series stars Matt Cohen and Billy Miller making some serious charges against the duo.

Apparently, the actors were involved in a situation that ultimately resulted in the police being called upon. While the authenticity of the allegations has not been independently verified us, many fans of the popular American drama and Cohen have since called out the vile troll over the offensive post and for spreading sick rumors.

"I quote the nut who has now been deleted 'Matt Cohen and Billy Miller drugged me and took advantage of me and I've alerted the police'," a GH fan tweeted, quoting the post by the online troll, whose Twitter account seems to have been taken down. According to soaphub.com, there is little truth to the rumors and since no such thing actually happened, the fan outcry led to questionable posts and the user account being eventually removed.

Following the outrage and the pouring support from fans and followers of the series, Cohen — who is better known as Griffin Munro from the ABC daytime soap — has also taken to social media to clear the air and set the record straight. While the 35-year-old actor thanked his fans for the support, he urged them to keep the negativity at a bay.

"Thank you to all that support me. No need to engage with this sick person anymore. All the information that is necessary is in the hands of the right people to bring justice. Thank you all, now lets keep my @twitter feed full of joy and love!!! #you," he shared. Since Cohen's General Hospital co-star Miller is not there on Twitter, we are yet to get a response from him on this situation.

Thankfully for Miller and Cohen, GH fans have bombarded social media with supportive messages and posts.

One user wrote, "The leader of the #SaD #Killy cult (Mel)spreaded rumors about Micheal Easton, Rebecca Hearbst and a ton of others. She probably started this rumor and dragged Matt Cohen in to continue her sick behavior #GH #Melisawacko."

A second fan chimed in, writing, "STOP ATTACKING MATT. He is the most deserving man on the planet and if all you have to do in your life is hate on him you’re pathetic and a piece of garbage. Just don’t even bother talking to me if you’re going to hate Matt Cohen because you do not truly know him @mattcohen4real."

"This is some sick shit from SOME of these Burton/Jasam fans. Now they are involving Matt Cohen, they tried with Donnell. I truly hope Billy and Matt have this person arrested and prosecuted," added another.
