North Dakota farmer plows a massive 'build the wall' message of support for Trump across his fields

The retired 78-year-old man from the Midwest, whom Trump had previously referred to as a 'great American', plowed the words 'Build the wall' onto his snow-covered property.
UPDATED JAN 11, 2019

President Donald Trump had all eyes and ears on him when he recently addressed the country from the Oval Office. Turns out, Gene Hanson, a farmer from Edgeley, North Dakota was paying keen attention and decided he needed to get a message across to the president.

So in his characteristic style, the retired 78-year-old man from Midwest plowed the words 'Build the Wall' onto his snow-covered property that spans the length of two football fields. The man has been featured in the news on many occasions before and this was the latest offering to Trump.

The last time he used his fields to get a message across, the president called him a 'great American'. In 2017, Hanson plowed: "We stand for the National Anthem," when a group of NFL players took to one knee during the playing of "The Star-Spangled Banner" which the president himself noticed and posted on social media.
