Kavi Nyx faced Brooklyn Marie in the Battle Rounds, and the two performed David Guetta and Sia’s Titanium. After they finished singing, Adam Levine’s first question was, “Brooklyn, you’re 14?” When she answered yes, he replied, “That’s crazy. I’m not.” He continued, “When you were hitting those really kind of airy, higher notes in your register, it was done so sweetly and beautifully and with so much purity. All in all, a really, really great job.” To Nyx, he said, “Kavi, you did also a great job and I loved hearing you throw in those notes.” Before announcing the winner, Kelly Clarkson made sure to remind the singers, “Either way, I’m gonna work with you afterwards, so let’s keep that in mind.” The coach ultimately picked Brooklyn Marie as the winner, bringing Kavi Nyx’s run on The Voice Season 30 to an end.
