The Gilded Age Cast Changes: From Patrick Page to Sullivan Jones, See Who Isn’t Returning For Season 4

Thomas Fortune, played by Sullivan Jones, was romantically interested in Denee Benton’s Peggy Scott, despite being married. He was seen getting into a fight with Peggy’s future husband, Jordan Donica’s Dr. William Kirkland. The actor is reportedly exiting the HBO series and won’t return.

Previously, The Gilded Age Season 3 ended with Richard Clay getting fired by Morgan Specter’s George. It happened after he couldn't close a major deal and instead got himself a rival for revenge. The actor is also excited and won’t return.

By the end of Season 3, Ward McAllister was told he won’t be invited to Bertha’s end-of-season ball. According to Deadline, “Viewers have probably seen the last of Ward McAllister,” which indicated his potential exit from The Gilded Age Season 4.

Nicole Brydon Bloom’s Maud Beaton is also reportedly leaving the HBO series. After her character, Maud, was put on a train back to her hometown, the actress wrote on Instagram, “The goddess of timing once found us beguiling…but now…I’m off to Sandusky. Thank you @gildedagehbo and to my sweet Oscar, you are a treasure! Xx.”

Claybourne Elder’s John Adams died in The Gilded Age Season 3, ending his character storyline on the show. Reflecting on his character journey, the actor wrote on Instagram, “I’ll miss John Adams. Getting to play this quietly complex man who was trying to carve out a space for love and dignity in a world that offered very little of either - was a gift.”

Rachel Pickup’s Miss Andre is also reportedly leaving the series. In Miss Andre’s storyline, viewers saw her sell Russell family secrets to the press. After her actions came to light, she was fired from the household and left afterward. After that, her storyline seemed to wrap up, which is why she might not appear in the series’ latest season.
