The Voice Season 30: Meet the Returning and New Coaches, Plus the Live Voting Twist

The Voice Season 30 will premiere on September 21, 2026, with a three-night premiere week. Fans are in for a treat: they will get to see a three-episode premiere extended through September 23, 2026. The milestone season premieres Monday at 8 pm ET on NBC. It will also stream on Peacock the next day. Following the premiere week, the singing competition will air new episodes every Tuesday and Wednesday. Adam Levine is returning for the milestone season of the singing competition. This will be his 19th season on the NBC show. He was among the first coaches, alongside Blake Shelton, CeeLo Green, and Christina Aguilera.

Along with the Maroon 5 frontman, Kelly Clarkson is also returning for the NBC series. The Voice Season 30 will be her 11th season as a coach. She also shared an exciting announcement regarding her return via Instagram, stating, “She’s baaaaack.”

For the latest season, Queen Latifah has joined the coaches panel. She has been a recognized name since the late ‘80s, when she was in high school, with her female rap trio, Ladies Fresh. Over the years, she has had an extensive career in film and music and will now be seen on The Voice Season 30 coaches panel.

Along with Queen Latifah, Riley Green has also taken over as a coach on the NBC series. The country star is making his debut as a coach, having previously appeared as a performer on the show. Sharing the news via Instagram, he wrote, “I guess y’all can start calling me coach…see ya this fall.”

Interestingly, NBC has introduced a few voting twists and more. For the first time, The Voice Season 30 Live Shows will simulcast on NBC and Peacock across different time zones. The show will also air “Theme Week” episodes celebrating TikTok trends, Y2K culture, and Dolly Parton. For voting, viewers can vote via TikTok and SMS for their favorite artists.
