American Idol Season 25 Judges Revealed: See Who’s Returning to the Panel

Luke Bryan is officially returning as a judge for Season 25 of American Idol. He confirmed the news of his return, as well as that of the other judges, during his recent concert at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Bryan joined the music competition show in Season 16 and has never skipped a season since. So, the upcoming installment is his 10th season as a judge.

Lionel Richie will also return to his judging duties in Season 25. Just like Luke Bryan, Richie joined American Idol in Season 16 and has been a regular fixture ever since. That means Season 25 will mark his 10th season on the show, too.

Alongside Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, fans will see Carrie Underwood return to the judges’ seat. Underwood joined the show only recently, taking on judging duties in Season 23 after replacing Katy Perry. This means the upcoming installment will be her third season on the panel.

Ryan Seacrest signed on for American Idol in its very first season in 2002, and he will once again return to host the show in Season 25. He initially co-hosted the debut season alongside Brian Dunkleman before becoming the show’s solo host starting in Season 2. Seacrest has continued to host the series throughout its run on Fox and its subsequent revival on ABC.
