Nobody Wants This Season 3 Cast: Meet the New and Returning Characters Joining Netflix Show
Kristen Bell as Joanne Williams
Kristen Bell is, of course, returning as Joanne Williams, an “outspoken” podcast host. The official synopsis for the new season reads: “Prepare to have that ‘first time’ feeling, all over again. After recommitting to each other at the end of last season, Joanne and Noah are moving into a home — and a relationship — that finally feels solid, embracing every exciting ‘first’ that comes with building their life together.” Still, Netflix promises that “you should expect all the fun — and humor — that is signature to Joanne and Noah’s relationship.”
Adam Brody as Noah Roklov
It should have been clear enough from the previous slide that Adam Brody will also be reprising his role as Noah Roklov, an “unconventional rabbi.” While talking about Season 3 with Tudum, co-showrunner and executive producer Bruce Eric Kaplan noted, “After the ups and downs of Noah and Joanne in Season 2, it was really important to us to be like, ‘Let’s let them have their moment now of settling in and having fun.’” Jenni Konner, who also serves as co-showrunner and executive producer, shared the same view: “We didn’t have to do any more ‘Will they, won’t they?’ We know they are going to, and it was sort of, ‘How are they going to?’”
Timothy Simons as Sasha Roklov
Timothy Simons is confirmed to be slipping back into the character of Sasha Roklov, Noah’s older brother, in Season 3. Netflix has also teased Sasha’s storyline: “Following their Season 2 separation, Sasha and Esther (Jackie Tohn) are thrust back into the dating world, whether they like it or not. As Sasha deals with the awkwardness of swiping and DM flirting, he and Morgan (Justine Lupe) start to feel the pull of something neither of them has been able to name.”
Justine Lupe as Morgan
Justine Lupe is also returning as Morgan, Joanne’s sister. The two co-host the Nobody Wants This podcast in the series. In Season 3, Morgan “takes her career to the next level, on her way to becoming an (almost) media sensation.” As for matters of the heart, the streamer confirms that “Sasha and Morgan have been circling something neither of them has been able to admit to.” However, Jenni Konner warns, “It's very high stakes for Morgan and Sasha.” Fans will have to wait a little longer to find out what becomes of this side couple.
