The Voice Season 30 Battle Rounds Part 3 Eliminations: Adam Levine Saves One Singer as 5 Contestants Go Home

Harmony McKee and Allie Rae both performed Ain't No Sunshine by Bill Withers in Battle Rounds Part 3. Kelly Clarkson told McKee, “You have the most beautiful resonance,” but still advised Riley Green, “I would maybe lean a little towards Allie Rae.” Green admitted that he was “dreading” their battle because they are “both so talented.” However, he had to choose one, and he went with Allie Rae, meaning Harmony McKee was eliminated.

Wade Turner and Owen Uffens performed Dive by Ed Sheeran, and both gave it their best. Queen Latifah, in her feedback, stated, “You individually have such different voices to me.” Riley Green said that “he might lean toward [Wade] a little bit,” but he “enjoyed both” of them. When it was time to announce the winner of the battle, Adam Levine called it “super tough” and noted, “At the end of the day, I kind of have to follow my heart.” And his heart was calling the name of Owen Uffens. That’s how Wade Turner’s journey on the show came to an end.

Next up were Matthew Chiu and Kyle Davis, who battled it out with Take Me Home by Phil Collins. After their performance, Adam Levine said he was “super proud” of Chiu and called Davis “one of my favorites.” Queen Latifah praised both singers, saying, “Kyle, I felt like every time you just stood and sang so boldly, those notes just felt so strong and so powerful. But it was fun watching Matthew just move all around the place. You were doing the most out there.” However, it was Kelly Clarkson's decision to pick the winner, and she went with Kyle Davis. That meant Matthew Chiu had to go home.

Julia Clark was also eliminated from the singing competition in the latest episode. She competed against Amanda Mikkel, and they sang Can’t Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley. Riley Green had kind words for both contestants, saying, “Ladies, that was awesome… Amanda, you crushed this one too. It’s like there’s nothing you can’t do.” He continued, “And Julia, something about your presentation is extremely interesting to me. I thought y’all both were great.” Before announcing the winner, Adam Levine explained, “I got to move forward with the person that I think has the most potential in this competition based on what I’ve heard so far, even though it hasn’t been enough. But I need to hear more from this person.” And that person was Amanda Mikkel.

Saade was sent home after losing the Battle Round to Brianna Cameron. The two performed Mercy by Duffy. Adam Levine shared, “If I’m picking up a winner here, it’s going to be Brianna.” But, he wasn’t the one selecting the winner. While giving feedback, Kelly Clarkson said, “First of all, I commend you both because in rehearsals, Ariana and I both were like, ‘Hey, just make sure you all lock into each other.’ Y’all took that and ran with it.” Ultimately, the coach picked Brianna Cameron as the winner.
