S.W.A.T. Exiles Cast: Meet the New SWAT Team Members Joining Shemar Moore’s Hondo

Shemar Moore is once again cast in the leading role as Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson. Moore starred in the original series across all eight seasons. The official logline gives us an idea of what fans can expect from the OG return: “After a high-profile mission goes sideways, Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson is pulled out of forced retirement to lead a last-chance experimental SWAT unit made up of untested, unpredictable young recruits.”

Ronen Rubinstein takes on the role of Officer Jude Callan, who is described as “a wildcard with a troubled past.” Nothing much is revealed about his character, but it’s confirmed that he is one of the main series regulars. Fans might recognize Rubinstein from 9-1-1: Lone Star, Smiley Face Killers, No Escape, It Felt Like Love, Dead of Summer, among other projects.

Freddy Miyares stars as Ethan Cole in S.W.A.T. Exiles. He is a “socially awkward tactical savant” who joins the newly assembled and experimental squad. Miyares is known for his roles in When They See Us and DMZ.

Zyra Gorecki plays Cassidy Reed, another new recruit on the team. She is described as “guarded and determined to earn her place.” Gorecki previously starred in La Brea and Every Other Weekend.

Lucy Barrett steps into the role of Sammy Bishop, a “gun-show influencer with something to prove.” Barrett’s past credits include Sissy, Deep Water, Charmed, Black Site, and Co-Ed.

Among the new recruits is Malik Henderson, played by Adain Bradley. Henderson is “sharp, ambitious, and hiding more than anyone realizes.” Bradley is best known for starring in Tarot, Wrong Turn, and Warfare.
