Summer House Reunion Part 1 Highlights: KJ's Hospitalization, Lindsay's Bombshell Revelation About West, and More

After talking about his close bond with Mia and Ciara as his sisters, KJ Dillard opened up about his mental health at the recently released Summer House Season 10 reunion part 1. It happened after the host Andy Cohen mentioned the support KJ had received from his fans. “I didn’t expect it…After I went through some heavy stuff mentally. I actually had to go to the hospital for self-harm,” recalled KJ. He got emotional while reflecting on his mental health struggles. “And I needed that because I think my whole life, I distracted myself, and I ran away from my issues instead of facing them head-on.” KJ also revealed his BPD diagnosis while he was in the hospital. He also noted that he was thankful to the audience for “embracing” the things he had been through because it was his “truth.”

Ciara called out West for his “lying” behavior and added, “We don’t know what you’re doing, and probably the reason why it was all so confusing is because you have a girlfriend…Meija.” West’s response was, “Not a girlfriend, but I was seeing someone.” Listening to that, Lindsay jumped in, “She (Meija) says you guys were exclusive and in fact she spent the night with you the night before Watch What Happens Live on March 21st?” Lindsay pulled her phone and read receipts: “Sorry, correction, March 24th, not March 21st.” West recalled getting the tie from Mejia. Andy Cohen also reflected on the “horse hair tie” that West wore during his March 2026 appearance on WWHL.

Andy asked Carl about his “surprise” connection with fellow cast member Bailey. Carl reflected on how the connection between the two grew, “I mean, she’s easy to talk to.” But he also noted that he had “Been a little cautious in the house for obvious reasons.” That’s why he was trying to “play it cool.” Andy asked whether their bond had grown deeper. Carl recalled hanging out with Bailey over the fall, “I love our friendship.” Bailey also opened up, noting that she adored Carl “so much.” Soon, Carl’s ex, Lindsay, took the reins and asked him whether he would “go for it” if Bailey were open to something more beyond their friendship. “I mean, I think I would, but I feel where we are right now…just liking the friendship…” Bailey added that the two were at “very different places” in their lives. She referred to the age gap between the two, and he knew exactly what he wanted, including being in a metal space, and wanting to get married soon.

Amanda faced many questions from fellow cast members regarding her relationship with West. One of the confrontations with Ciara turned out to be quite intense where she revealed the receipts. Ciara’s text on March 5th said: “So for clarity, since I don’t feel like you’re making it clear, you and West haven’t hooked up, made out, held hands under table, or had s**?” to which Amanda replied, “Correct.” However, at the reunion, Amanda admitted it was a “100%” lie on her part. Elsewhere in the reunion, West also admitted to having lied to his fellow cast members and friends. “The lying part…I’m not going to sit here and act like I didn’t do it. I 100% lied to people here, and I take full accountability for that,” he admitted.

The first part of the Summer House reunion ended with yet another tense confrontation where Ciara called out Amanda and West’s relationship and their potential future. She stated, “The best woman for West is someone who’s not gonna check in on anything, and that’s totally Amanda. Like, she is very mute. She’s gonna be that weak figure that he needs, and he can always be the star in the relationship. So I actually think like, maybe it could work.” Her words brought Amanda to tears. Witnessing that, Amanda’s estranged husband, Kyle, told Ciara that her words were a little “harsh.” However, Ciara responded that she was his wife, and not hers.
