Ranking The Boys’ Strongest Characters Ahead of Season 5 Finale

After proclaiming himself as the Messiah in The Boys Season 5, Homelander's powers are now heightened after he injected V-One into his veins. Not only does this make him more powerful than the rest of the supes, but he's also immortal. This poses quite the conundrum for the resistance.

Soldier Boy's ability to render his opponents powerless by hitting them with his radioactive beams, making him one of the more dangerous supes after Homelander. He's already demonstrated that power by burning Compound V out of the other supes' bloodstreams. If there was one supe who could match Homelander, it could be his very own father.

The fanged tentacles haven't come out of Billy Butcher's chest in all their glory so far this season. The Boys' only answer to fight fire with fire against Homelander is Butcher. He was injected with genuine Compound V to cure a terminal brain tumor caused by Temp V, which instead bonded with the tumor that was killing him. While he is one of the characters expected to die this season, expect him to cause some major damage before kicking the bucket.

He may have taken a beating from Homelander at the start of 'The Boys' Season 5, but Ryan (Cameron Crovetti) is more powerful than he was shown to be. With Homelander's blood in his veins, his rawness makes him a more potent weapon. Add extreme durability, powerful laser beams from his eyes, and immense strength, Ryan might just be the secret weapon in the finale.

Sister Sage (Susan Heyward) demonstrated that the mind is the most powerful weapon, and her manipulative abilities saw her get the best of even Homelander. What she lacks in physical abilities like the rest of the supes, she makes up for by strategic planning. Barring the one wrong chess move in Episode 6, where she switches sides, Sage can destroy the enemy with pure strategy.
