NBC's The Voice Season 30 Coaches Revealed: Check the Full List

Adam Levine is absolutely coming back for Season 30. He's the only original coach still associated with the show after joining in Season 1 in 2011. He coached hopeful singers for 16 seasons before exiting in May 2019. Since returning in Season 27, he has only skipped Season 28. That means the upcoming installment will mark his 19th season as a coach. He first confirmed the news to PEOPLE in an April interview, saying, “I will be back. I'm having so much fun doing it. Since I came back a few seasons ago it's just been a blast and I'm super happy to keep it going as long as they'll have me.”

Kelly Clarkson is also coming back after joining the show as a full-time coach in Season 14. Before that, she served as an advisor in Seasons 2 and 13. Like Adam Levine, she also took a break from the show before making her return. She first went on hiatus in Season 22 before returning the following season. She then departed after Season 23 and recently returned in Season 29. To announce her return this fall, the show's official Instagram account posted a reel and wrote, “Team Kelly has RE-entered the chat. Kelly Clarkson returns as a Coach this fall on The Voice!”

Queen Latifah is making her red chair debut in the upcoming season. NBC has confirmed that she will be joining the panel as a coach. The rapper and actress told Entertainment Tonight that it is going to be “exciting.” She also joked, “I wonder what they're gonna call me. 'Coach La, yo Coach Queen! The Royal Rebels! It's the Royal Rebels right here! What's good?' I don't know, I gotta get in the mirror — I'm working on it! I'm working on my shtick, I gotta get in the mirror with it.”

Riley Green is another newcomer in Season 30. The country star confirmed his participation himself by sharing a post on Instagram on May 10. He wrote in the caption, “I guess y’all can start calling me Coach… see ya this fall.” Luckily, he has already received some advice from Blake Shelton, who holds the record with nine winning seasons. During an Entertainment Tonight interview, Shelton urged, “Man, don't take any crap from the other Coaches. Don't try to be nice, don't try to get along with them. They don't care about you. You need to get that in your head right now, and play to win.” It remains to be seen whether Green will follow the advice or not.
