NBC's 30 Rock Celebrates 20th Anniversary With Reunion — See Who’s Returning for the Special

Tina Fey not only created 30 Rock but also starred in it. And now, she is confirmed to return for the reunion. Fey played Liz Lemon, the stressed-out producer of a fictional live sketch comedy show. Fans of the NBC comedy will remember Lemon as someone who “constantly has her hands full, juggling corporate interference from Donaghy and off-the-handle star antics from Jordan, all while attempting to salvage her own personal life.”

Alec Baldwin, who played Jack Donaghy, is also coming back. Donaghy was a ruthless, ambitious, manipulative, and conservative network executive in 30 Rock. Last year, in an interview with The New York Times, Baldwin talked about the sitcom, expressing “When it was over, I thought, I’ll never have this again. I’ll never have this kind of writing again.” His statement makes it clear how fond he is of the NBC comedy, so he wouldn’t have said No to the chance to reunite with his cast members for the world. 

Tracy Morgan will also be there. He is known for playing Tracy Jordan, the “unpredictable star of Lemon's hit variety show, TGS.” This year, Morgan also starred in another NBC mockumentary comedy series, The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, which was produced by Tina Fey and premiered in February. In an interview with PEOPLE, he talked about his experience working with Fey, saying, “I've made beautiful music with Sam and Rob and Tina. So, they already know my voice. So, they know how to direct my sense of humor in the way they know me.” He noted, “And I just thank them for believing in me and giving me a shot again because 30 Rock was some of the greatest times in my life.” 

Another familiar face who will be present at the reunion is Jane Krakowski. In 30 Rock, she took on the role of Jenna Maroney, the “co-star of TGS” alongside Tracy Jordan. Maroney was a narcissistic actress who was always desperate to hold onto the spotlight. When she wrapped filming the sitcom’s finale, Krakowski spoke to Glamour in 2012, where she admitted, “It's very bittersweet.” Talking about her character, she noted while laughing, “I threw my last Jenna temper tantrum yesterday—I'm going to miss throwing furniture and insulting people and being allowed to!” She also added, “I'm going to miss all the wacky story lines. It's so fun, and I don't think we're going to get to do this anywhere else.”

And who could forget Kenneth Parcell? The “over-eager and effortlessly endearing NBC page.” He was played by none other than Jack McBrayer, who is confirmed to be among those attending the NBC show’s reunion. In 2012, during a chat with PopEntertainment, he shared how he felt while working on the final season, “To me it feels like your senior year of high school where you're having fun and ‘oh it doesn't matter, I already got into college’ and things don't matter. But you know that there on graduation day, you're going to be choking back tears and hugging people that you never even spoke to. It has been great fun and business as usual so far but towards the end it's going to get real emotional.” Now, all the high schoolers are ready to reunite.
