Lioness Season 3: All the Major Characters Returning and Leaving as Taylor Sheridan’s Hit Drama drops Teaser Trailer

Zoe Saldaña is set to return for Lioness Season 3 as Josephine “Joe” McNamara, the CIA officer overseeing the covert Lioness program. As station chief, Joe recruits, trains, and directs female operatives on dangerous undercover missions. Beyond starring in the series, Saldaña also remains involved behind the scenes as an executive producer, continuing her leadership role both on and off screen.

Nicole Kidman is also returning for Season 3 as Kaitlyn Meade, a senior CIA official who oversees the agency’s Lioness operation. As Joe McNamara’s superior, Kaitlyn plays a key role in directing missions and managing high-level decisions. Known for her political savvy and extensive intelligence experience, she remains one of the program’s most influential figures.

Morgan Freeman will be back as Edwin Mullins, the U.S. Secretary of State. Introduced in a recurring capacity during the first season, the character was promoted to a series regular for Season 2.
