Industry Season 5 Cast: 7 New Stars Join HBO’s Final Season as Production Begins

Cary Elwes is joining the final season of Industry as Padgett Stillman, an investor. His role will be in a supporting or guest-starring capacity, rather than as a series regular. Yes, that’s all we know so far about the fan-favorite star of The Princess Bride, Stranger Things, Ella Enchanted, Dead Man’s Wire, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and The Crush.

Another new character is coming aboard for the upcoming season. Dianna Agron will play Skip Binksy, the CFO of a wellness tech company. It has not yet been specified whether this is the same wellness firm run by Zosia Mamet’s character, Carmen Dame, or a rival company. Only time will tell. Agron is known for Glee, Shiva Baby, The Family, I Am Number Four, Bare, and several other projects.

Sam Riley is stepping into the role of Solomon Kerr, described as “an elusive British businessman who made his fortune in Silicon Valley.” Elusive? That word is synonymous with trouble. Meanwhile, Riley has become familiar to audiences through his roles in The Dark Valley, The Vault, Islands, Maleficent, Control, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and more.

Season 5 will introduce the character of Marina St. Clair, who will be played by Jessica Brown Findlay. Little is known about St. Clair, except that she is a “family friend of Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington).” Brown Findlay has starred in many popular titles, including Harlots, Downton Abbey, Winter’s Tale, Victor Frankenstein, and Silo. She will also appear in the Peaky Blinders sequel series in an undisclosed role, though its release date has not yet been announced.

Then there’s Luke Manley, who will bring Stevie Delmonte to life in the forthcoming season. Delmonte is an execution trader, and that’s all we know about the character for now. As for Manley, he may be familiar to audiences from Marty Supreme, No Need to Worry, and Seeking Engagement.

Bally Gill will star as Nikesh Shah, who is described as “a charismatic left-wing politician.” Gill brings experience from projects such as Interview with the Vampire, Slow Horses, Free Fall, Shelter, and Sherwood.

There will be another trader in Season 5, named Olexij Kovalchuk. HBO has cast Eduard Poliakov in the role. Before joining the series, he appeared in On Drive, Mavka: The True Myth, and Blueberry Summer.
