Street Fighter Movie Cast Guide: Meet the Stars Bringing Iconic Video Game Characters to Big Screen

Andrew Koji stars as Ryu in Street Fighter. He’s a grounded, disciplined martial artist trained in Ansatsuken alongside his longtime friend and rival, Ken Masters. Set in 1993, the reboot finds Ryu living a solitary life after stepping away from fighting. But the mysterious Chun-Li recruits him and Ken to return to combat for the World Warrior Tournament.

Noah Centineo plays the iconic martial artist Ken Masters, Ryu’s cocky, golden-haired longtime best friend and rival. Following the murder of their mentor, Gouken, Ken and Ryu fall on hard times and drift apart. Ken spends his days as a struggling, down-on-his-luck “hot mess” until Chun-Li recruits him and Ryu for the World Warrior Tournament. Together, they uncover a “deadly conspiracy that forces them to face off against each other and the demons of their past. And if they don’t, it’s GAME OVER!”

Remember the “shady boss” we mentioned in the last slide? That’s M. Bison, the main antagonist played by David Dastmalchian. An egomaniacal tyrant and leader of the criminal syndicate Shadaloo, Bison hosts the World Warrior Tournament II as a trap to lure in Ryu, the winner of the first tournament.

Jason Momoa turns green (literally) in Street Fighter as he takes on the role of Blanka, a feral, green-skinned beast with long orange hair and claws. Blanka uses his strength, agility, and animalistic instincts to fight his opponents. But he’s a softie on the inside, especially when it comes to his mother.
