Every Year After Cast: Meet the Stars Bringing Carley Fortune’s Novel to Life in Prime Video Show

Sadie Soverall stars as Percy Fraser, a woman who returns to her beloved lakeside hometown after years away, carrying the weight of her past and facing unexpected changes. Soverall is best known for playing Beatrix in Fate: The Winx Saga and has also appeared in The Gathering and Saltburn. More recently, she took on the role of Shelby Holcomb in the London production of John Proctor Is the Villain.

Juliette Hawk portrays the younger version of Percy Fraser, bringing the character’s early years to life in Every Year After. Viewers may recognize Hawk from several holiday films, particularly on Lifetime and Hallmark. Her past credits include Snowed Inn for Christmas, Magic in Mistletoe, A Christmas Star, and Oy to the People, making her a familiar face to fans of festive television movies.

Matt Cornett plays Sam Florek, Percy's former friend and love interest who has since become a doctor and is in a relationship. However, old feelings begin to resurface when Percy returns to their hometown. Cornett is widely known for playing E.J. Caswell in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. His other credits include Zombies 3, Summer of '69, and TV shows such as The Goldbergs, Life in Pieces, Southland, and The Middle.

Blue Clarke portrays the younger version of Sam Florek in Every Year After. Before joining the series, he appeared in the film Where the Crawdads Sing and the crime drama Black Bird, building an impressive résumé early in his acting career.

Michael Bradway stars as Charlie Florek, Sam’s older brother in the Prime Video adaption. Bradway is known for his recurring role as Jack on Chicago Fire. He also appeared in a supporting role in the 2025 film Marked Men, directed by Nick Cassavetes.

Carson MacCormac plays the younger version of Charlie Florek in the show. Audiences may recognize him from Shazam and Shazam: Fury of the Gods, where he portrayed a bully. He also appeared as Zach in My Life with the Walter Boys and starred in 2025 horror films including Clown in a Cornfield and This Is Not a Test.

One of Percy's closest friends in Every Year After is Chantal, a lawyer who is newly engaged. The character is portrayed by Aurora Perrineau. She is known for her lead role in Jem and the Holograms and has also appeared in Prodigal Son, Netflix's Kaos, and season four of Westworld. She additionally portrayed Yusef Salaam's mother in Ava DuVernay's miniseries When They See Us.

Jordie is one of Sam’s friends and works at the motel where Percy and Chantal stay during their visit. The character is played by Joseph Chiu, whose previous credits include the film Fear Street: Prom Night and television series such as Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, The Miniature Wife, and Motorheads.

Spoiler alert: Sue Florek is the mother of Sam and Charlie, and her death becomes the event that brings Percy back to Barry's Bay. The character is played by Elisha Cuthbert, a familiar face to many TV and movie fans. Over the years, she has appeared in films including The Girl Next Door, Old School, Love Actually, and My Sassy Girl. She is also known for roles in Happy Endings, 24, and Nickelodeon's Are You Afraid of the Dark? during her early career.

Delilah, one of Percy's childhood friends, chose to stay in Barry's Bay while others moved away. Bringing the character to life is Abigail Cowen, who gained recognition as Bloom in Fate: The Winx Saga. Viewers may also know her from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, where she played Dorcas, as well as appearances in Stranger Things, The Fosters, and the horror movie The Ritual.
