Dwayne Johnson Looks Unrecognizable as 70-Year-Old Chicken Man in Lizard Music Set Photos: Check Here

Dwayne Johnson is seen wearing a tan bucket hat and coat while holding a paper bag. His prosthetic makeover was created by Kazu Hiro, whom some fans may remember for transforming Tom Cruise into a geriatric oil baron for Digger.

Dwayne Johnson and his young co-star Theo Leber, who is holding a large lizard plush, are captured walking side by side on the road while eating pizza. Leber stars in the lead role opposite Johnson in Lizard Music. The film follows a young boy who “stumbles upon strange lizard musicians on late-night TV, leading him to befriend a peculiar man with an elderly chicken.”

Dwayne Johnson listens to director Benny Safdie’s instructions as Safdie looks down at a tablet and points something out. This isn’t the first time Johnson and Safdie have worked together. The two previously collaborated on 2025’s The Smashing Machine, in which Johnson transformed into legendary MMA fighter Mark Kerr with the help of prosthetic makeup.

Dwayne Johnson has been no stranger to getting under the makeup artist’s brush. Apart from Lizard Music and The Smashing Machine, he underwent a multi-stage practical effects makeover to transform his character, Sarge, into a mutant creature in 2005’s Doom. Johnson also had to endure a grueling three- to four-hour makeup transformation every day to play the title character in 2014’s Hercules.
