Missed AGT Season 21 Week 2 Auditions? Here's Every Act That Advanced to the Next Round and All Golden Buzzer Moments
Kevin Quantum
Kevin Quantum brought a science-based stunt inspired by the classic swinging-ball desk toy, turning it into a massive flaming apparatus. Although the judges admired the concept and acknowledged the challenge of completing the blindfolded feat, the lengthy explanation and setup hurt the performance's pacing. The act was buzzed out before completion, but the audience still showed its appreciation with a standing ovation for his ambitious effort.
Frankie LaPenna
Frankie LaPenna is known for his viral prank videos. He grabbed attention with his “very tight tight tight tight shorts” before attempting a balloon-popping act that involved bursting balloons by sitting on them. While the performance got a few laughs, it failed to impress the judges as a talent act. Sofia Vergara and Mel B quickly hit their X buzzers, and they even reached over to buzz out Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel as well.
Abiud Sando
Breakdancer Abiud Sando brought his viral dance style to the AGT stage, performing in an eye-catching purple-and-white suit. His smooth, gliding movements and floor-shuffling technique immediately stood out from typical dance acts. While Mel B wasn’t convinced and voted no, the other three judges saw enough potential to keep him in the competition. With support from Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandel, Sando advanced to the next round by a 3-1 vote.
Rynia Kando
Rynia Kando turned a simple idea into a memorable audition by impersonating how various celebrities might react after stubbing their toes. Her impressions of stars including Christina Aguilera, Ariana Grande, Kourtney Kardashian, and Lady Gaga drew big laughs from the audience and judges alike. Howie Mandel called her “hysterical” and praised her talent. Although Mel B voted no, support from Sofia Vergara, Simon Cowell, and Mandel earned Kando a spot in the next round.
Lara D
Australian singer Lara D traveled from Sydney to pursue her dream on the AGT stage after working in her family’s real estate company. Her outstanding rendition of Raye’s Oscar Winning Tears impressed both the audience and judges. As Howie Mandel praised her performance and appeared ready to make a big move, Sofia Vergara quickly stepped in and hit the Golden Buzzer first, securing Lara a direct spot in the next phase of the competition.
Julia & Charlie
Opera singer Julia auditioned alongside her dog, Charlie, in a unique act built around the idea that the pup could sing with her. While Charlie managed a few vocal sounds, he spent more time licking Julia’s face than joining the performance. The act failed to impress the judges, with Simon Cowell commenting that Charlie seemed to be telling his owner not to sing. In the end, all four judges voted no.
Brad & Tracy
Brad and Tracy may seem like an ordinary couple in their sixties who enjoy movies, horseback riding, and dancing, but their AGT act revealed a much wilder side. The pair performed a series of daring stunts, including lying on broken glass and sword swallowing, leaving the audience both impressed and horrified. Mel B buzzed the act and voted no, but Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell were won over by their fearless performance, sending them through to the next round.
Hundred Fingers
Magician Yu Hojin returned to AGT with a new group called Hundred Fingers, combining illusion, choreography, and synchronized movement to create a visually striking magic performance. Featuring disappearing cards, floating feathers, and bursts of sparkles, the act impressed all four judges. The performance was such a hit that host Terry Crews rushed toward the judges' table to press the Golden Buzzer, only for Howie Mandel to beat him to it and send the group straight through.
Holland & Sienna
Las Vegas couple Holland and Sienna brought athleticism to the AGT stage with an impressive aerial performance. During the routine, Sienna’s dress tore, creating an unexpected challenge in the middle of their act. Despite the mishap, they completed every lift, spin, and aerial trick without missing a beat. The judges were impressed by their professionalism and composure under pressure, rewarding the duo with four yes votes and a place in the next round.
Geno Ploeger
At just 21 years old, Arizona magician Geno Ploeger impressed the judges with an engaging magic routine. Inspired by AGT winner Mat Franco, Ploeger combined card tricks with quick sleight-of-hand. His act involved randomly selected cards, a word chosen by Simon Cowell, a folded picture, and several clever reveals that kept the judges entertained throughout. The performance earned praise from the panel and four yes votes, sending him to the next round.
Cesar Dias
Cesar Dias surprised the AGT audience by turning a standard rendition of Frank Sinatra’s My Way into a hilarious comedy act packed with physical humor. What started as a simple performance spiraled into a series of mishaps, including a trapped finger, falling pants, and other perfectly timed gags. His comedic timing and classic clown-style routine won over both the audience and the judges. Howie Mandel summed it up best, calling it “stupid but great” as Dias earned four yes votes to advance.
Nyjah Music & Zyah Rhythm
Teen brothers Nyjah Music and Zyah Rhythm traveled from Hawaii to audition for AGT with their original song, Heartbeat. The 15- and 16-year-old performers impressed the judges with their vocal chemistry and harmonies. Howie Mandel said their sound reminded him of Grace VanderWaal, while Mel B complimented their voices even though she wasn't a fan of the song itself. Simon Cowell praised their potential, and the duo received four yes votes to move on in the competition.
