'Hannity Special' attacked the appointment of David Weiss in Hunter Biden's investigation

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Special Counsel David Weiss was appointed to Hunter Biden’s most recent investigation as per Washington Post.

On ‘Hannity Special' Tammy Bruce took over for Sean Hannity as she discussed POTUS and Hunter with Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett.

Jarret and Bruce took over the segment on 'Hannity Special' and Jarrett frequently accused Joe Biden of "bribery." However, the segment focused mostly on the appointment of Special Counsel Weiss, which was also the highlight of Hannity’s tweet when he shared a clip of the segment on Twitter.

‘Hannity’ attacks the appointment of David Weiss

On ‘Hannity Special’ Tammy Bruce compared Hunter Biden’s case to Donald Trump, “With Trump, they want trials in two months and they want it all done by a certain date, they got a fire lit under them. But in this case (Biden’s), they want to have no fire. It seems like that’s what manifesting here.”

To this, Gregg Jarrett responded, “It’s a cover-up, and it’s a protection racket and Merrick Garland has now doubled down on it by appointing the last person in the world who should be special counsel, David Weiss.”

US Representative, Nancy Mace, who was also a part of ‘Hannity’ said, “Our concern today is that the appointment of David Weiss is going to slow down the investigation, that is a very realistic concern.”

In addition to the segment, Hannity also took to Twitter with a clip and wrote, “Weiss as special counsel is proof of 'Biden protection racket': @GreggJarrett.” The internet was unimpressed with Fox News after this report.

Internet slams Fox News and ‘Hannity Special’

The internet slammed Fox News and ‘Hannity Special’ in particular after this segment as one person tweeted, “Fox News is entertainment to rightwingers its about as true as the Chronicles of Narnia.”

Some have even labeled this conversation as “gossip” as one person tweeted, “If everyone would focus together on how to solve the problems we have on Earth, rather than wasting time and energy on gossip who did what. Clearly, our environmental ecosystem would not be in this current state of unbalanced nature.”

Internet users have also directly addressed Gregg Jarrett and his claims as one person wrote, “Remember when people knew what words like “proof” and “evidence” meant?  That’s not proof, Gregg. Look it Up.”

Others have also pointed out different issues with ‘Hannity Special’s report on Weiss as one person wrote, “lol Trump appointed Weiss initially, and now that he did not do what you wanted him to do he should not be special counsel LOLOLOL you guys are nothing but jokes,”

Another user said, “Lol, Republicans ask for Weiss as special council then complain when they get him. Up is down.”
