Why is Melania Trump upset with media? CNN slammed for reporting she's 'bitter towards Donald' after Captiol riots
Former First Lady Melania Trump has had it enough with public scrutiny. In what comes as a latest, she has criticized a CNN report that claimed she spent 'most of her time post-White House relaxing at the spa' and was 'bitter and chilly' towards Donald Trump following the Capitol riots.
The CNN article, written by the White House correspondent Kate Bennett, wrote at length how Melania was 'disengaged' from her husband's second impeachment trial and spent hours at the spa getting 'massages, nail care, facial treatments or other items on the menu'. But the former First Lady is far from happy about this piece and has slammed its malicious nature openly.

The CNN report under scrutiny by the Office of Melania Trump additionally claimed that the former first lady has given into the environment of Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, and was avoiding all talks of politics. “She goes to the spa, has lunch, goes to the spa (again) and has dinner with Donald on the patio. Rinse and repeat. Every day,” CNN reported, citing a source supposedly familiar with Melania's schedule.
In addition to that, the CNN article also reports that she was "bitter and chilly" towards her husband following the events that took place on January 6, 2021, at the US Capitol. But Twitter is not one to back down from holding Melania accountable for the public personality that she is. "She is a FORMER First Lady and quite the controversial one. That's why she is under scrutiny. Get used to it," one user responded to the tweet.
"All former Presidents and First Lady get talked about after they leave office. Deal with it may Trump should of ran for President and he wouldn’t be an impeachment President twice," another tweeted.

Some users pointed out Melania is far from a 'private citizen'. ""Private Citizen"?! Then why is an Official Governmental Seal of the United States displayed on this "Private Citizen" account? Just curious," one tweeted, while another said, "Mrs.Trump is a public figure, receives taxpayer pension funds and taxpayer-funded Secret Service protection. Indeed, this twitter account shows she is trying to stay relevant and in the public eye."
