Florida man repeatedly calls woman driver N-word in viral video, screams 'your Black life matters nothing'

The man told the woman, 'How many Black Lives Matter right now? None,' while repeatedly yelling the N-word

An unidentified male driver has been caught on video screaming a racist tirade against a black woman driver in traffic in Naples, Florida. The man used the N-word several times, threatened the woman and asked her repeatedly how much her life mattered - a direct response to the 'Black Lives Matter' movement. The video has nearly garnered 2 million views on Twitter, though the male driver in question remains unidentified. 

The video shows the man asking the woman to tell him "how much your life matters." When the woman responds, "Am I supposed to be hurt?" the man pulls out what appears to be mace, asking her again, "Tell me how much your life matters!" Without listening to her response asking why she had to, the man continues to scream, "Your black n***** face. F*** you, n*****. That's how much your life matters. Nothing. F*** you." 

The original poster has asked the Internet for help in finding the driver, writing, "I literally just got off the highway into Naples and this is the first thing that happens to me. Like this man could’ve killed me at a whole red light. FIND THIS MAN!!" 

According to one response, this driver appears to be similar to one who was reported about on August 6. The reply reads, "This is the same man I posted about aug 6 he will be stopped and charged soon!" It later adds, "So to all the people calling me uneducated; and acting like “it’s just words” but never had anything close to this happen, you need a reality check, I’m not here to argue." 

The driver appears to be loudly protesting the 'Black Lives Movement,' as he is heard repeating the phrase "How many Black Lives Matter right now? None," the over and over again. Replies to the video shared on Twitter have already been attempting to identify the man based on whatever clues can be seen in the video.

"If anyone in the Naples area comes across a car with gray duct tape on the passage (right) side window and chipping in the back right window. Please take the license plate down. The car seems to be a soft gold and it also has silver one the handles," writes one respondent.

The Collier County Sheriff's Office has released a statement on the issue on their Facebook page, writing, "We are aware of a very disturbing video circulating on social media showing horrendous and vile behavior of a male subject in an encounter with a female in our community. The behavior in the video is awful and we are ready to take investigative action-but we need to talk to the person(s) that encountered this man." The statement asks people to phone in if they have any information, adding, "If you know the person who encountered him, please encourage her to call us! We do not and will not tolerate this behavior in our community!

There have been several attempts to guess the identity of the man in question, whose face is partially obscured with sunglasses and a red baseball cap, but at the time of writing this article, no positive identifications have been confirmed. Shaun King has also tweeted to his followers asking help to identify the man in the video.
