Tarek El Moussa is known to be there for his clients till the end, and in the latest episode (October 1) he decided to help Somer and Kenny. The pair have been flipping houses for quite some time and after Tarek asked them not to invest in one of the properties, the pair managed to find another. Somer and Kenny have three beautiful children, and in the hope of providing to their family, the pair decided they would renovate the house and make it into a dream home. Somer and Kenny revealed they had bought the house for $1,250,000 and were looking to make some profits off of it.

However, the renovation was going to be big. Once Tarek laid his eyes on the property, he was sure it was unique. After he entered the house he warned Somer and Kenny that the house could turn out to be profitable or they can incur a loss because of its style. Since it was a mid-century funky house, Tarek informed them it was important to find the right buyer.

Somer and Kenny agreed and stated she would work on their plan. As te pair showed the layout of the house, Tarek was quick to guide them about what could work and what was needed to go out. While the pair had many plans, some of them Tarek thought would not be workable. Once he gave his approval, the pair decided to work on things that could be done fast. Unfortunately, even after a month into their project, Somer and Kenny struggled to get the work done at the speed they wanted. Kenny informed him it was important to check the water system in the house and to ensure it did not cause a problem to the layout.

Taking his advice, Kenny decided to bring in a plumber to go through the house. They managed to fix the plumbing problems, but in a bid to get that sorted, Kenny had another problem. He noticed the AC circuit became a live unit due to the changed plumbing system. Tarek warned him it was important to get it sorted and asked him to fire all the employees as he believed they had done a terrible job.

Seeing how many changes it needed, Kenny and Somer wondered if it was right to go on with the project. They decided to drop the project. However, Tarek motivated them not to give up. It allowed Kenny and Somer to go forward with the project but will they finish it in time?

'Flipping 101' airs on Thursdays at 9 pm ET on HGTV.
