The first presidential debate that was held on September 29 was full of chaos, disruption and endless accusations as President Donald Trump and vice president Joe Biden came face to face to tell America to vote for them ahead of the November 3 elections. Moderator Chris Wallace questioned both the parties on a series of topics in the debate, which lasted for an hour-and-a-half.

In one of the segments when the topic of tax returns surfaced, Wallace asked Trump if he allegedly paid only $750 in federal taxes in the first two years of his presidency. Trump responds to the question saying, “I paid millions of dollars in tax returns. You will see it after it's filed.” In response to Trump’s response, Biden says, “The tax code that put him in a position where he pays less tax than school teachers is because he took advantage of the tax code. I am going to eliminate these tax codes and invest in the people who need help... You're the worst president we've ever had."

However, in the same video, it almost seems like Biden said “Inshallah” when Trump detailed his tax returns, which quickly caught the attention of the Internet users. Soon, people hopped on to the social media platform in large numbers to ask one another in much shock if Biden in fact said “Inshallah” while debating with Trump. One Twitter user wrote, "Did Biden say Inshallah about Trump's tax returns or was I dreaming??." While another opined, "@lsarsour Not only did Biden say "Inshallah", he used it in the colloquial context meaning "not really.” Meanwhile, explaining the meaning of the word another added, "Did #Biden just hit #Trump with an #inshallah?! Inshallah is a very common and hopeful word in Arabic and means 'when god wills it'. It could be also used sarcastically to indefinitely defer something! I thought that I have seen it all!" One Twitter user noted, "He did. Biden was asking when Trump gonna release his tax returns . After repeating “when” couple times, Biden said “inshallah?”. He knows wassup"
