First Presidential Debate 2020: Biden wants 'clown' Trump to shut up, Internet calls it 'quote of the century'

Things got heated up as Biden accused Trump of lying and at one point even referred to POTUS as 'clown' and internet couldn't have enough of it

The first presidential debate has begun and so has the attack between Joe Biden and President Donald Trump. It started with the topic of Trump's nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. But things got heated up as Biden accused Trump of lying and at one point even referred to POTUS as "clown". He said, "Folks, do you have any idea what this clown is doing?" Not just that, when Trump was interrupting Biden, the latter momentarily lost his cool and also said, "Will you shut up, man?" Biden did not want to comment about whether he would support efforts to expand the Supreme Court. But Trump pressed him to take a position on that issue and that's when Biden hit back with his "shut up" remark. 

If things are getting interesting on the big stage, it means it has to be discussed on Twitter. About the clown remark, a user said, "Quote of the century. I want it on my tombstone." Another said, "I may have cheered when I heard that." One said, "Trump is being an obnoxious bully. He thinks he’s doing great but he just looks like a buffoon." Another said, "LOL At Biden straight up calling Trump a clown." One user said, "YESSSSSSSS!!! Joe Biden is taking trump down like the bullish creature that he is. He just called him a clown."

Twitterati also discussed about Biden asking his opponent to shut up. One user said, "'Will you shut-up man' @JoeBiden is as tired of listening to him as we are." Writer Nicholas Kristof said, "Biden says to Trump what millions of Americans have wanted to say: 'Will you shut up, man?' Another said, "Biden is making a critical statement about voting and Trump's toddler antics start up again. Biden fires back with: 'WILL YOU SHUT UP MAN?' 'That was really a productive segment, wasn't it?' Biden says sarcastically and deservedly. 'Keep yappin', man.'"
