Gigi Hadid's final Tommy Hilfiger show left her emotional and trying not to tear up
Gigi Hadid's fourth and final show for Hilfiger brought the partnership to a successful and happy close.
The Hadid siblings really made their mark and family debut at the Tommy Hilfiger's Spring 2018 fashion show which took place in Milan with model-siblings Gigi, Bella, and Anwar taking to the runway together. The fashion show was a racing-themed one as was the color tone and style of clothes.
As reported by Cosmopolitan, in an interview, Gigi spoke about how she was pretty emotional about doing her fourth and final show with the designer. In her words, "I walked into Tommy's dressing room this morning, and we both had to kind of not talk about it because you'd start tearing up."
The show was titled 'Drive' and it was a way to pay tribute to Tommy Hilfiger's love for racing as well as his partnership with the Formula One team Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport.
Gigi rocked the runway wearing a THxGH-branded crop top as well as color-block leather pants. Hadid described the Spring collection as "bold, effortless, and fast". The collection went back to the 90s with its racing theme and references. Apart from the Hadid siblings, Hailey Baldwin, Lucky Blue Smith, and Winnie Harlow also walked the runway for an audience that included people like Ruby Rose and Olivia Palermo.
