Could Laughter really be the best medicine? As people across the world continue to struggle to fight the crisis that is COVID-19, the entertainment world is coming together for the cause in an attempt to do their bit. Comedians are coming together to share a platform to raise money for those severely affected by the global pandemic that has brought the world to a standstill.

The Feeding America Comedy Festival is a joint attempt by Feeding America, a hunger-relief organization, NBC and Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios and Funny or Die to raise money to provide food to those who cannot afford it at this time.

"There's nothing more important right now than doing everything we can to make sure everyone affected by this pandemic is able to feed themselves and their families," said Doug Vaughan, NBC Entertainment's executive vice president of special programs. "We're honored to be partnering with Feeding America and the amazing work they're doing to make sure there is food on everyone's table."
