'Fear The Walking Dead' Season 6: Will Alicia Clark get the screentime she deserves? Fans hate 'The Morgan Show'
'Fear The Walking Dead' returned after a long wait with a Morgan-centric episode. If we remember correctly, the last we saw of Morgan (Lennie James), he didn't look so good. He had been shot by Virginia (Colby Minifie) and left for dead. There were Walkers surrounding him. But he miraculously survived and as he explains it, someone saved him and stitched him up, though he still doesn't know who. At the end of the premiere, Morgan manages to behead the bounty hunter that Virginia had sent after him and later communicates a message to her: "Morgan Jones is dead. You're dealing with someone else now." With that, he wears the bounty-hunters hat and sets off on a horse.
As FWD is following an anthology format for Season 6, we might not get to see Morgan in the next episode, rather, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Strand will get the screentime that they truly deserve. As entertaining as it is to follow Morgan's story, as he comes from the original franchise of 'The Walking Dead', it has been upsetting for the fans to see Alicia being sidelined – to the extent that an hour before the premiere they were trending 'We Want Alicia Clark', and hoping she would appear in the premiere itself. The truth is that ever since Morgan made his way into FWD, we haven't seen much of an Alicia and she has been seemingly relegated to the role of a side character. Nevertheless, Episode 2 is focussed on Alicia, thankfully. Could she be the one to finally put Virginia in her place? Hopefully, that's the case, rather than waiting for Morgan to come and save her.
Fans are rather disgruntled that the show hasn't been about Alicia so much, even though she is last of the Clarks. "I love Morgan but just can’t help think that since they brought him into fear it’s just all about him now. This show was supposed to be about the Clark family and then Alicia when she was the only one left. Shame she isn’t the main character anymore. #FearTWD," a fan had tweeted.

"@FearTWD i hate that Fear became essentially The Morgan Show, Alicia, Strand and Daniel were more than capable of make an interesting show on their own. They were regretfully sidelined. #FearTWD," another wrote.

The synopsis for Episode 2 is promising, as we'll see Alicia standing up to Virginia, which might have repercussions, of course. "Virginia forces Alicia and Strand to clear an unusual walker threat, where an encounter with a new ally gives Strand an idea that could be the key to their freedom."
