'Fatal Seduction' Episode 3 Review: Jacob and Nandi confess their love as drama intensifies
Spoilers for ‘Fatal Seduction’ Episode 3
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Just as ‘Fatal Seduction’ continues to progress, so does Nandi and Jacob’s relationship, which has only intensified from the last two episodes. While Brenda’s death and the investigation around it serves as the main storyline that is consistent in every episode, the focus has shifted primarily to Jacob and Nandi. Nandi, who is still grieving the loss of her best friend, is quickly distracted by Jacob.
It is almost shocking how quickly Nandi and Jacob have fallen for each other, but given the start of their extremely sexual relationship, there is clearly more that needs to be explored, and ‘Fatal Seduction’ Episode 3 does just that. So, if you’re looking for more answers about Brenda’s death, Episode 3 might end up raising more questions than giving answers.
A confession of lust and love
Jacob and Nandi have established an electric and lustful connection between themselves from the very first episode. However, there’s more to than just lust between the two of them. After Jacob doesn’t show up to Nandi’s class, a worried Nandi goes looking for him. ‘Fatal Seduction’ Episode 3 showcases the progress and build-up between the two lovers, which eventually leads to Nandi being determined that she will be divorcing her husband, Leonard, and is simply waiting for the right time to bring it up.
On the other hand, Jacob seems a little too eager about Nandi leaving her whole life behind for him - someone who is way younger than her, and is also her student. Surely he understands the risks of Nandi uprooting her whole life, but he doesn’t seem to care. Nandi admits to Jacob that she is falling for him, and Jacob is quick to confess his love for her. As the couple spends tender moments together, one can’t help but wonder just how many layers there are to this.
Who really is Jacob?
The previous episode revealed that Jacob was potentially stalking Nandi and her family for a while, and ‘Fatal Seduction’ Episode 3 only hits the nail harder on that suspicion. At the end of the episode, Nandi takes a long drive, assuming she is going to pick up her daughter, but instead, her husband surprises her with a huge party. Meanwhile, at a safe distance from the party is Jacob, wearing a hoodie as he looks on. In addition to this, Jacob is also most likely the ‘catfish’ who has been messaging Nandi’s daughter all this while. So, what are Jacob’s true intentions, and who even is he? Is ‘Fatal Seduction’ a saga of love or obsession?
