Kristen won 'Top Chef' Season 10 and ever since then life has been good to her, professionally and personally. Not only did she become the first woman of color to walk away with the coveted title of a top chef but also went on to be employed as the chef de cuisine/ executive chef at the impressively storied American chef James Beard's Menton. But Kristen always had big dreams, which were realized when she finally opened her own restaurant Arlo Grey in Austin, Texas. Her menu is inspired by her travels and she fuses that with her French and Italian cooking styles.

In fact, there was a mazel tov moment just little over a year ago when she got engaged to girlfriend Bianca, who is from Australia.
