Liz and Ed's new relationship problems are visibly intertwining. The couple's relationship has been the subject of multiple TLC seasons, beginning with '90 Day: The Single Life' and progressing through 'Happily Ever After' Season 7. Ed has created a name for himself in the '90 Day Fiance' franchise, starting with his courting of Rosemarie during Season 4 of '90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.' While Ed's relationship with Liz, which began off-screen and transitioned to 'The Single Life,' was initially perceived as healthy, fans have cast doubt on it as well. Due to the noticeable reduction in Liz's happiness and overall well-being, people have dubbed Ed a "sanity vampire." Liz admits to a friend on the Sunday episode of '90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?' that fan speculations have a ring of truth to them. She believes Ed "doesn't necessarily want to see me grow or succeed," and that he wants her to rely on him more. "I feel like I'm the one person so far that's kind of been in his life that's never needed anything from him," Liz says. According to Liz, Ed is only supportive when she goes to the gym. When addressing her workout regimen, she mentioned Ed "will look through photos and be like, 'Oh, do you ever think about getting back to that size?' It's kind of insulting. I don't feel pretty."
