'The Kardashians': Fans love Kris Jenner and Travis Barker's collab on Christmas song, demand an hour-long special

Fans never realized they needed Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, and Travis Barker on a Christmas song until now

The finale of Hulu's 'The Kardashians' included Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker, and Kris's lover Corey Gamble getting a sneak peek of a newly recorded song. Fans were unable to remain calm after hearing Kris Jenner's rendition of the iconic Christmas carol "Jingle Bells."

Normally, getting a sneak peek at something Travis was working on wouldn't be a big deal, but the kicker here is that he worked on it alongside Kris. Travis, Kris, and arguably Kourtney (on bells) jingled the world's bells in December 2021 when they released their rendition of the iconic Christmas song, Jingle Bells. Travis was understandably on drums while Kris seized the mic and delivered those vocals. According to People, Kourtney mentioned her mom in her Instagram stories at the time of the recording, which has since been removed.

Kourtney offers her mother tea, so she may record the Christmas song of the century. Kris calls it a "dream come true." When Travis proposed to Kourtney the idea of Kris performing a Christmas song with him producing it, she couldn't think of any reason why not. Kourtney admits in a confessional that Travis loves Christmas just as much as her family, so it was the ideal occasion for everyone in the family to get together. Kris even shows her vocal warm-up routine before recording her smash song. Kris questioned about autotune due to the duration of the lyrics, to which Travis replied that it will be there. Kris later expresses a wish to sound like Mariah Carey. As Kris attempts to record her piece, the studio is filled with laughter, including the singer herself. Kris was quick to blame Kourtney for her awful takes in a confessional, claiming she could perform better if her daughter wasn't interrupting her with all the laughs. Kourtney joked that Kris would pee in her pants from laughter as she struggled to find her "key." Kris is compared to a theatrical person by Kourtney, who claims she is neither a pop nor rock star. Kris expressed in a confessional how important family is to her, and now that Travis is a member of their family, this cooperation meant a lot to her.

Fans towards the end of the episode just saw Kris, Kourtney, Travis, and Corey get a taste of what's to come with their possible smash track on an episode of 'The Kardashians.' The happy group is in a car together, which is an excellent opportunity to listen to new music. "We have the final version of Jingle Bells, with the drums," Kourtney declares. There's nothing else to do but "cue it up," Corey adds flatly.

If you think you're going to hear the eponymous bells first in Jingle Bells, kindly think again. "Can we start over and go just a little bit faster," Kris begs in the song. Kris seemed to appreciate it, which is all that matters. "Oh my God, I am loving this," she says during a confessional (as he drives away). "My song sounds so good," Kris said. What is important to Kris, is that she was able to spend time with her family.

Fans soon took to Twitter demanding an hour long version of the song. One fan tweeted: "I'm requesting an entire hour long Christmas special featuring Kris and Travis. How could Hulu NOT after this?! #TheKardashians "

Another fan called Kris's song to be a total BOP as they write: "Whoever said #TheKardashians don’t have talent have obviously never listened to Kris’ version of Jingle Bells it’s a bop #krisjenner"

One fan wrote how they aspire to be like Kris: "I aspire to be a mum like Kris Jenner #TheKardashians "
