Release date

'Family Karma' premieres on Sunday, March 8 at 9 pm ET/PT on Bravo, following which you can catch new episodes every Sunday at 9 pm ET/PT on Bravo. 

Plot

Set in Miami, 'Family Karma' gives a sneak-peek into the lives of seven second-generation Indian-Americans, who are trying to live their best in the USA while still trying to achieve their dream American life.

The show follows Shaan Patel, Bali Chainani, Anisha Ramakrishna, Monica Vaswani, Brian Benni, Vishal Parvani and Amrit Kapai.

Bravo describes the show as, "Growing up in traditional, multigenerational households, the group is bonded by their strong cultural ties and vibrant Miami social lives."

"While their parents and grandparents instill cherished customs, these adult children are drifting more towards the 'American Way', and the two worlds collide in the most unexpected ways."

"These friends are determined to live life to the fullest and navigate the pressures of adulthood while maintaining their deep-rooted connection to the Indian culture."

Anisha Ramakrishna

The 34-year-old Anisha recently moved back in with her parents after spending over 10 years in the cutthroat fashion industry in New York. While she is busy pursuing her dream of starting a size-inclusive clothing line, her family is pushing the designer to settle down and start a family. 

Amrit Kapai

Amrit Kapai (Bravo)

When Amrit was 25, he came out to his parents as gay. Now, at 32, Amrit too moved back home to help grow the Chicago branch of his law firm. On 'Family Karma' we will see Amrit struggling with his long-distance relationship with his boyfriend in Chicago.

Brian Benni

When playboy Brian realizes that he may be harboring feelings for his best-friend Monica, he worries that he may have been friend-zoned by her. Will Brian be able to win over Monica, and make his parents dream of seeing him settle down with an Indian girl come true? Only time will tell.

Bali Chainani

Bali ensures that you understand that she isn't your typical Indian woman. Having weathered two divorces, glamorous single mom Bali straddles the line of hanging out with her friends in their 20s and 30s while maintaining relationships with their mothers. Now in a serious relationship with her long-distance boyfriend O'Malley, she is hoping that the third time's a charm.

Monica Vaswani

When Monica's parents divorced, she decided that she would be the "perfect Indian girl". In the past, when she expressed her interest in her friend Brian, he ran to the hills, now we see him trying to woo her back. 

Vishal Parvani

Vishal has been engaged to the love of his life for three years now, yet he stays at home with his parents. The problem: he needs to get his future mother-in-law's approval to plan the traditional ring ceremony before he can even think about the wedding.

Shaan Patel

Despite being the youngest member of their friends' group, Shaan has already started his own business and lives with his girlfriend. Will Shaan be the first friend to settle down and start a family?
