'Fallout' Season 2 is coming to an end, but not before some explosive action. Titled, 'The Strip', the series finale teased another major showdown between Maximus (Aaron Moten) and the Deathclaws. It will be round two of the duel.

Per Empire, the clip sees Deathclaw looking to put an end to Maximus, who, at the other end, is suited up in NCR Power Armour and looking to activate the weapons system of his suit. The series has so far done a tremendous job spacing out the storylines of Lucy (Ella Purnell), The Ghoul (Walton Goggins), Maximus, and their fellow Wasteland wanderers. Now, it appears the action is building up for a solid finish.

"With a Maximus/Deathclaw scrap to dig into, that revived Mr. House reveal on the Lucky 38's supercomputer screen to unpack, further daddy-daughter drama with Lucy and Hank down in Hankland to look forward to, and more story strands to tie together than you can shake a can of Nuka Cola at, one thing's for certain: you're not gonna want to miss Fallout Season 2's finale," the outlet's feature read. " Luckily for us, we don't have long to wait for it: we're hitting the strip — and 'The Strip' is hitting Prime Video — on 4 February."

Previously, Goggins teased a humdinger finale. "I can tell you that in episode 8, without giving something away to your audience, something profound happens for both the Ghoul and Lucy that would also be my favorite, but we can’t talk about that," he told Popverse. Also adding about her character was Purnell. "She might believe she wants to bring her father to justice, and that's really what she's going to do, the 'Yellowjackets' star told EW. "But what we realize when we get to the finale and episodes 6, 7, 8 — by the time she actually is reunited with her dad, her idea of justice is no longer the same."

At the time of writing, the streamer has already greenlit a third season of the hit series. Filming is expected to start later this summer, with a 2027 release window looking likely. The confirmation of season 3 came back in May 2025, well before the premiere of the second season. Safe to say, the much-awaited finale will set the tone for the next instalment.

'Fallout' Season 2, Episode 8 drops Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 6:00 pm PT/ 9:00 pm ET on Prime Video.
