‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’: Neelam, Seema, Maheep or Bhavna, who is the most scandalous of them all?

Fabulous or frivolous? Netflix's ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’ will make you question that again and again. A glossy sneak peek into the lives of the rich Bollywood wives — now who wants that? Starring Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey and Seema Khan, wives of Bollywood actors Samir Soni, Sanjay Kapoor, Chunky Pandey and Sohail Khan respectively, the eight-episode series begins with dollops of drama.

Although the show is getting slammed for showing "pretentious lives of ex-Bollywood (leeching off of the reflected glory of SRK and pretending to be relevant) wannabes" and "lives of flop, jobless actors wives," many viewers do love the four leads and connect with them on a personal level.

“How many people get lucky enough to do a show with their best friends?” Bhavana told Variety. “Well, we did and enjoyed every minute of it.” Neelam added, “To be back on screen after so many years and, that too, with my best friends, has been an exhilarating experience.” Former model Maheep said, “The four of us have been friends for eons and we really enjoyed celebrating that friendship in this series.”

But out of the four, who do fans think is the best and who is the worst? "Maheep Kapoor being so out of touch with reality is so moronic and hilarious at the same time... like do I wanted her to shut up or do I want her to continue talking so that I can make fun of it," said a viewer while another said, "I’m actually enjoying #TheFabulousLivesOfBollywoodWives and I really like Neelam, Mahdeep and Seema. Not a fan of Bhavna, she comes off as 'fake/holier than thou'." A third joined in, "LMAO! I love love love Seema and Maheep. Definitely the kind of women you want over for brunch." And a fourth said, "My God, Neelam is so beautiful. Can I please look like that when I’m 50?" And a fifth said, "Just started watching #TheFabulousLivesofBollywoodWives and Neelam Kothari’s my favorite."

Clearly, everyone loves Neelam as she has been in the limelight and enjoyed a long career in movies from the 1980s and 1990s. Seema makes for just the perfect buddy you'd like to hang out with. Sadly, Bhavana didn't really strike a chord with fans. However, when it comes to being scandalous, Maheep takes the trophy for her catty comments!

Nonetheless, many others continued the slam fest. "I’ve watched two episodes of #TheFabulousLivesOfBollywoodWives and I’ve already thrown up five times. The vacuous, mind-numbingly boring conversations between these talentless women is an assault to my senses. Hideous!" one tweet read and another said, "#TheFabulousLivesOfBollywoodWives is enjoyable, trashy & doesn't pretend to be anything else. But I wonder if these women will realize how lame they all sound. "I don't want to do a beach cleanup coz I'm allergic to seafood", "I would never *audition* for a movie"?"

A third said, "#TheFabulousLivesOfBollywoodWives is basically a hybrid of Koffee With Karan & Keeping Up With The Kardashian. I watch it with a pinch of salt as it provides an ‘insight’ to the pompous lives of the elite class - but how much of is ‘real’ is something idk. Still entertaining to see."
