Have 'Teen Mom 2' star Javi Marroquin and girlfriend Lauren Comeau split? Instagram story fuels breakup rumours
The recently aired episode (October 13) of 'Teen Mom 2' left everybody shocked when Kailyn Lowry revealed that her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, tried to hook up with her, while he was still engaged to his girlfriend Lauren Comeau. During a fight with Javi over the pickup arrangement of their six-year-old son, Lincoln, Kailyn dropped the bombshell. She later explained how her ex-husband pulled into a parking lot, while she was filling gas, and simply told "I want to f*** you."
After the scene aired, the reality star immediately took to her Twitter to issue a public apology to Lauren saying that she didn't deserve the "humiliation" due to a "situation" between Javi and her. Kailyn posted, "I want to publicly apologize to Lauren in regards to tonight’s episode. She didn’t deserve the humiliation she was put through due to a situation between Javi & me. I’ve been in her shoes and I’ve felt that pain, however, have never experienced that being exploited on TV. I did have a private conversation with her, but owe her a public apology as well.”
Despite Kailyn's heartfelt apology, the damage seems to have been done, as hawk-eyed fans noticed that Lauren unfollowed Javi on social media. The breakup rumors intensified after Lauren posted a cryptic message on her Instagram story about ending of an important phase in her life. Lauren shared a picture of a tarot card message on her story, which reads, "The Universe is saying to you today: ‘An important phase is ending in your life. This necessary ending will led you to find your true life path and purpose which you are prompted to fully undertake. Keep up the positive energies and expect further prosperity, fulfilment and happiness to enter your life.”
Neither Javi nor Lauren commented or posted anything about their current relationship status. Javi, 27, and Lauren, 28, have been in an on-and-off relationship since 2017. During the same year, Javi's divorce to Kailyn was finalized. The couple reportedly met at a friend's wedding in July 2017. They were in a long-distance relationship for a few weeks before splitting in September 2017. Following his split from Lauren, Javi went on to date another 'Teen Mom 2' star- Briana DeJesus. Unfortunately, their romance too was short-lived, as the couple broke up in January 2018.
In March 2018, Lauren shocked everybody by revealing that Javi and she were giving their relationship another chance. Towards the end of May 2018, the happy couple announced that they were expecting a child together. They welcomed baby Eli in November. Things haven't always been smooth between the couple. Last August, Lauren reportedly caught Javi with another woman in their home. The incident led to a split between the couple. Javi tried really hard to win Lauren back, and even issued a public apology at that time. His efforts seemed to have worked, for the couple got back together a few months later. We will just have to wait and see if Lauren and Javi manage to get through the latest obstacle in their relationship.
