A former porn star whose husband was fired from his job after his bosses learned of her past has now moved into an RV with her family and started posting vlogs for a living.

36-year-old Channon Rose of Los Angeles, California, had a difficult childhood and began working as a prostitute from a young age. Her parents divorced when she was just eight and her father remarried a woman who she says went on to physically and emotionally abuse her. Channon found herself involved in prostitution at a young age after suffering from mental health issues as a result of the abuse. She became a professional stripper when she turned 18 and began to do porn a few months after, thus beginning a decade-long career in the adult film industry

At some point, Channon realized she wasn't fulfilled with her career and decided to start a family. She mustered enough courage to create a profile on a dating website where, as fate would have it, she met her doting husband Travis Dean, 44. After learning of Channon's past, Travis's family disapproved of the relationship and fired him from his job at the family business when he refused to leave her. The pair subsequently decided to make a living by sharing vlogs of their daily lives on YouTube and Instagram.

Channon and Travis shared everything with their new family online, even documenting their fertility struggles as they tried to grow their family. The couple struggled for years with fertility, experiencing miscarriages and failed IVF procedures. However, they now have two children Snow, three, born in 2018, and baby Storm who came into this world in March this year. They have since garnered an audience of over one million subscribers.

Channon was thrilled to have a family and subsequently began to pursue her other dream of traveling. With the help of their social media popularity, the couple was able to save up to purchase a recreational vehicle (RV) and decided to take their kids on a journey across the United States, documenting their trips on Instagram and YouTube. While Channon is often faced with negative criticism for her career in porn and her parenting decisions, she refuses to let it get to her.

"When I was eight years old, my parents divorced," Channon said, as quoted by the Mirror. "My dad cheated on my mum with my mum's best friend and then married her. It was the worst thing that could have happened to me. My step-mum physically and emotionally abused me for years. This led me in and out of psychiatric hospitals, and I went down the wrong path in life."

"I ended up becoming a child prostitute, and then a stripper when I turned eighteen. A few months after that, I did porn," she recalled. "After nearly a decade into this unconventional career, I realized that I really didn't want this life anymore. More than anything, I wanted to be married and have a family. I thought I wasn't good enough for that life, but I tried anyway."

"I ended up going on a dating website, where I met my now-husband, Travis," Channon continued. "Travis was fired from his family job when he refused to leave me after they found out I used to do porn. We decided to work for ourselves, and we've been doing YouTube ever since. Travis helps me with filming, and now that we have kids, he helps take care of the kids while I film videos. We tried for years to get pregnant we went through miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies. After years of IVF, we now have two beautiful children, and I'm living my dream."

Channon and Travis decided to follow another of their dreams and began to experiment with an RV lifestyle. "I've always loved the idea of traveling so we decided to travel the USA in an RV because there is so much here we haven't explored yet," Channon said. "When we're traveling from one place to the next, we drive about two to three hours at a time. That way we don't have to go too far, as the kids are in car seats. Then we either stay overnight at an RV resort or boondock. We like to stay in RV resorts if we can because they're the safest option and we have access to electricity, water, and WiFi."

"If at any point, our kids hated this, then we would go home but right now they are loving this life, and so are we," she explained. "Life on the road is amazing. It has made me realize that the world is a beautiful place. It's also made me realize I don't need so much stuff, in fact, I am so much happier and less stressed living on the road. We've all become a lot closer and got to know each other more. We've learned to be more patient as well."

"I'm hoping to inspire other people to do the same if they're interested in this life," Channon said of the family vlog. "We love reading people's positive comments. Unfortunately, we get trolls who love leaving negative comments, but we try to ignore them, as we know they are projecting their own hurt on us. I feel so much gratitude for every comment, whether negative or positive because they allow me to live my dream life," she added.
